Staff exceptionally nice, rooms are large with a separate desk alcove - well-appointed. Conveniently located in Cambridge (if that's where you want to be). Fairly easy to find using Google maps. The hotel is relatively small but that makes it nicer. Also has a nice restaurant with a wide selection.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

I had reserved a room using points, as I am a Gold Level Sheraton member. When my husband and I arrived, the man at the front desk (I wish I could remember his name) told me that we had automatically been upgraded to a suite. At most Sheratons, I have to request if one is available and some won't consider...

Dear Pomfret_NAG, Thank you for the wonderful review of your recent stay with us. I'm very happy you enjoyed your upgrade to a suite on the Club Level. Typically we don't have availability for upgrades outside of those who have platinum status, but sometimes lower occupancy offers availability of upgraded room types. The dates you stayed was certainly one of...

A close, but quiet location near the Harvard GSE and a 5 min walk to Harvard Square. Rooms are renovated, but like many city hotels, they are not large. Beds very comfortable, linens excellent. Housekeeping wonderful. Restaurant excellent. Staff very accommodating, valet parking not too expensive. Would be 4 stars, but room heat did not carry into the bathroom making...

The Sheraton Commander books up fast and with good reason. We booked a room with two beds, but upon arrival we were told that a double-bedded room was no longer available, and we were offered a king bed and a roll-away on the Executive floor. Fortunately our adult son didn't mind the rollaway but it did make the room tighter....

Somewhat pricey relative to quality, but still a better than average stay. The Commander was very well-located for attending an event at Harvard. My room was spacious and tasteful, with a comfortable king bed. Also, the complimentary wi-fi for SPG guests worked pretty well. And the room maintained itself at a nice consistent temperature without the climate-control making any noticeable...

Love this place! Everything about this hotel was amazing! Only thing I wish was that the parking price would be a little cheaper. Besides that , the suite we were in was clean. The employees were very nice. Enjoyed my stay!

This venerable Cambridge hotel is convenient to Harvard college, the Quad, and Harvard Square. Check in was efficient. You can choose a green option where you get NO maid service but a $5 voucher per day for food or drinks. They have a business center for printing boarding passes. Our room on the 4th floor faced Garden Street but was...

Front desk staff is wonderful. Rooms are neat and beds comfortable. Street noise can be disturbing (a lot of buses going by) and bathrooms are very tight. Restaurant in the lobby is pleasant. Food is above average. Wait staff is generally good (inconsistent). Management likes to push CNN broadcast 24/7. I guess they don't care if most guests are offended...

Dear SPGGuy_2006, Thank you for your TripAdvisor review. I'm happy you found our staff friendly and helpful, our beds comfortable and our restaurant pleasant. I'm sorry you had challenges with our TV service. I'm confused about your comment about pushing CNN. Guests can choose any station they want in their rooms. In our restaurant, we display news or sports. We...

As others have said, this is a great location in Cambridge. The staff is helpful, the rooms are nicely appointed, and the breakfast is well done - if you have that option. The gym is barely adequate, and Verizon cell reception in some of the rooms is strangely iffy. Still though a great choice.

Have stayed here many times and found it to be very nice. Very friendly and efficient staff. Very. NIce rooms. Great location. Reasonable price for Harvard Square. When here in December with my wife they gave us a free upgrade that included continental breakfast which was very nice.
