A few weeks ago, I had the incredible privilege of spending one Sunday night at the Mary Prentiss Inn. From my first entry to the beautiful and elegant lobby, I felt welcomed. I was told that I had to go outside in the back to get to my room. When I opened the door to the back, I entered a...

I was so upset after our stay that I emailed the owners based on an address provided on the website, but I have yet to receive a response. I could write a book, but I will try to sum this up: When we arrived roughly one hour before check in time, we walked into the lobby, hoping to obtain more...

We enjoyed it. 5 minute walk from Parker Sq Station (red line) & 10-15 min walk from Harvard campus. Plenty of restaurants up and down nearby Mass. Ave. Comfortable beds, microwave, mini-fridge, complimentary breakfast, quaint rooms and decor. Quiet neighborhood. Built in 1843. Rates seemed pretty reasonable, compared to similar accommodations in the area.

The Mary Prentiss Inn is a sweet little B&B nestled on a quiet street in Cambridge close to Harvard and 2.2 miles from MIT. We have stayed three times and love it because of its cozy, homey feeling rooms and parlor. And the 3 PM tea is just spectacular with homemade baked goods that are simply unforgettable. There are two...

When in Boston (1-2 times a month on business), I usually stay at the Hotel Veritas in Cambridge (near Harvard Square) -- a hotel I have come to really love (despite one rough stay years ago). But "my" hotel was booked and I needed to look elsewhere. As a native Bostonian (now a New Yorker for decades), I prefer to...

Spent an extended weekend at the inn. Had an excellent experience. Very nice and helpful staff, lovely fully equipped room (incl microwave, fridge, coffee, iron, good free wifi), delicious breakfasts and afternoon snacks, and very convenient location for Cambridge-centric activities. Bathroom spotless and up to date. Daily maid service. 3 block easy safe walk to subway for quick trips to...

The Mary Prentiss Inn is a true gem in Cambridge. Not only do they offer extremely reasonable rates, but it is also a lovely place to stay, accessible to the T at Porter Square, and an easy walk to Harvard Square. The breakfasts are delectable, and the rooms are clean and cozy. The Inn is our new go-to for Boston...

I cannot say enough good things about the Mary Prentiss Inn. The location is great for both the bus and the Red Line. The rooms are lovely (six of us stayed in six different rooms, and we "toured" each others' rooms), the beds are very comfortable, and most of the rooms have coffee makers and many have a microwave and...

This a lovely "bed and breakfast" that offers so much more than what's usual for this kind of accomodation. The rooms are clean and very comfortable, and the food is marvelous. The people of the staff are very polite, cheerful and helpful. I'd certainly stay in here again!

A small B & B housed in beautifully restored buildings located within two stops of Porter Square and the T- what's not to like? The inn has free parking but its proximity to the T meant we could travel all around town without the hassle of driving in Boston and Cambridge. Our suite was very fully furnished with the most...
