Hotel Tria in Watertown, MA is the worst hotel ever. Upon arrival, we were greeted with major renovations (unknown to us at booking) which resulted in a closed hotel bar and restaurant. The first day, all I heard was jackhammering. My door has been ajar twice upon arriving at my room. Tonight, the water is off - cannot brush teeth,...

We have stayed at this hotel a number of times a year....it is now under new ownership and they are refurbishing rooms and the lobby is frankly like a war zone. We will likely stay in the hotel again....but not until the construction ends and the kinks are worked out. Kinks like keys not working, water turned off for hours...

February/March 2017 -- This hotel is uninhabitable. We booked through Hotels.com and arrived to find a disaster zone of plaster, ash, dirt and various building materials. See the photos. YOU DON"T WANT TO STAY HERE RIGHT NOW! Hotels.com refunded our money, but the Hotel Tria apparently did not want to give us our first night's deposit back.

It takes a lot for me to rate a hotel super negatively. We weren't here on vacation, but rather, while our apartment was uninhabitable. I've always seen this hotel and thought it would be a great place to stay, so jumped at the excuse and a groupon deal to choose this hotel. Check in was God-awful. It's supposed to be...

Service was great and beds comfortable. They're in the middle of remodel so the lobby and other areas are a mess but that's to be expected. Noise level from nearby rooms is quite loud. There were some kids you could hear until after 11. Had to move the coffee maker across the room because there wasn't a plug near it....

As several people have noted, a bit tricky to find on the rotary (your very first available turn if coming from Harvard Square). Parking is free, which is a nice feature in Cambridge. There is some construction on-going because the hotel is about to change names and, I assume, ownership. Wi fi was free. The room was okay, real glasses,...

Last night, my husband and I attempted to stay at Hotel Tria. It was advertised with a reasonable rate and conveniently located. We arrived to a filthy lobby that was completely under construction and smelled of dust. It took close to 30 minutes to check us in because their computer wasn't working. When we got to our room the smell...

I've stayed here when it was part of Best Western and given it good marks, but my most recent visit was entirely disappointing. The property definitely needed updating, and there's been a change in ownership and the property is undergoing construction. But come on, be honest and let people know they are reserving a construction zone. Stay here and you...

First of all, if you want to stay for one or two nights and only sleep in here, OK, it's better than sleeping outdoors or under the bridge. But that's pretty much it. Breakfast - very "symbolical" and almost non-existent. Breakfast area has like 3-4 tables... I suggest to remove it from advertisement for this hotel and better not offer...

Hotel looked great, and rooms were clean, but the female managers seemed a bit incompetent. Disciplining staff in front of guests seem very unprofessional and they should stick up for employees' mistakes, and not push blame, since they are higher in position. Everything else was great, but the managers should be required to take leadership courses.

Good morning! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We are happy to read that you enjoyed the hotel and we also 100% agree that staff should only be rewarded/recognized publicly and critiqued privately. Thank you
