In the countryside. Rooms are new and clean and the area around is very romantic. It is not close to any village, I think Almost 15 km but staff is very helpful and nice and good is great. We have been stack there all day due to wind and we relaxed a lot and they were amazingly helpful

I know I've used this title before for a review, but this place was tied for the top place that we stayed in Iceland. We would definitely go back again. Not only were the rooms very nice and clean, but the location, breakfast, and other features were fabulous! The hotel is off of the main road, and it feels like...

Great rooms, great breakfast and dinner, well placed within the countryside (primary spot for Northern light watching; we managed to see glimmers of this) and alos with a hot tub (what do you want more)....definitely highly recommended and just look at the pictures of the view I have attached.

We chose this accommodation as it was advertised as a horse farm. But we saw no horses! Although it's clean with beautiful fields and great breakfast, not sure it's worth the price. Also, our bathroom door wouldn't close which made for zero privacy. Very quiet but would not stay here again.

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have ever visited. It is *way* out in the country down a well maintained gravel road (no problem for 2 WD vehicles). The setting is magnificent: many shades of green and enough time and peace to contemplate them. Volcano in the distance. Our room could not have been nicer: not fancy...

Very well finished and comfortable rooms, fantastic food for dinner and we saw the northern lights... what more could a traveller in Iceland ask for! The price was a tad on the high side but it was worth it overall. Don't check in later than 7PM though.. there's only 1 sitting for dinner and you'll miss it if you turn...

I wanted to write this few to really clarify the food issue that has been mentioned in some of the reviews. We stayed in August 2016 for 2 nights. The hotel is basic for what we are used to but to be honest nobody goes to Iceland for the hotels. However that said, the views are amazing from here and...

The staff was so friendly and the chef was great. She cooked the most amazing dinner so worth the cost to stay. The rooms were large, clean with TV and all amenities. The drive in was a long gravel road but we are used to it so it was not a problem for us and was a beautiful drive with...

I booked this hotel because my go-to hotel was sold out. Its a little more remote than it appears, a drive out of Hella and you have to go down a dirt road, it was an easy drive in nice weather but could be difficult in rain. The benefit of the remote location is that its a great spot of...
