We stayed here as part of our journey along route 66. The hotel lobby and hallways are full of route 66 and other nostalgia memorablilia. The room was a decent size with comfortable beds and clean. The bathroom was also clean with soft towels. The room had a fridge, microwave, coffeemaker, tv, cold a/c etc - all very convenient. The...

Economical hotel great for Route 66 enthusiasts and people who like a little nostalgia. The rooms were original decor and comfortable. Fascinating memorabilia of Route 66 all over the hotel. Could have been displayed a little better but hey it was still fun. Went to the bar to get a bite to eat but I must have been invisible because...

The room had a wet smell to it, places on the wall where previous decorations had hung and you could wee the dirty outlines. The light from the hall made it very bright in the room and difficult to sleep.

This appears to be an old motor lodge that has had the outside hallways and outside facing doors enclosed during a remodel. The place is obviously old, but has been redone. The lobby area is nicely decorated with old cars and advertising. The banquet rooms are smaller but adequate. The restaurant leaves a little to be desired and the free...

I stayed at this hotel for a temporary arrangement for two days. The main lobby with adjoining corridors are pleasantly entertaining if you like history. The room was not as pleasant. The room was musty smelling, dated, and dark. I actually felt like I was slumming it while I stayed here for two days. The Wi-Fi was somewhat sporadic as...

My partner and I rolled off highway 72 around midnight and thought we'd call it a night. We had used to sometimes stop along this stretch and stay at a place called Lincoln Motel or something (?) but it must have closed or we couldn't find it. But this Route 66 place had always caught our eye, so we thought...

This is clearly a vintage Holiday Inn. Very well kept. Clean and comfortable. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Biker friendly. Bar staff was great. This will be a regular place for me in Springfield. The air conditioner was working overtime and did ice up a little but the rooms were very nice and clean. The hall way was...

Ahhh where to start? We made reservations and limped in at 330am after a long day of road tripping....the man behind the desk was lackluster, rude and robotic. He was more interested in asking if we had pets than bothering to assist us in checking in. I asked for a late check out as we would be using the room...

To say that the hotel is dated is to avoid saying that it is passe. It should have been visited as a photo op rather than a place to stay. The only thing that it had was a cheap price for a very cheap experience. By far on an 8-night trip this was the worst free breakfast selection.
