I was in town on business and the conference hotel was all booked. I stumbled upon the Inn and was a little apprehensive since I have never stayed in a bed and breakfast before. I'm glad I stayed here. Upon arrival, I got checked in quickly and given a tour. I went up to my room and again very impressed....

Overall, we had a great experience. We booked for a wedding and stayed Friday & Saturday. The Highlights: · The receptionist/manager was very informative, available to answer questions and give recommendations. A great first impression. · The inn is beautiful. The rooms are clean, unique and thoughtfully appointed. (We got to see quite a few rooms as the inn was...

Nicely restored apartments turned into bed and breakfast. Others have noted train noise but two railroad tracks run through Springfield so wherever you stay you will hear trains. Last one we heard was around 10 pm. The breakfasts were delicious. All the main Lincoln sites are within 2-8 blocks. We had bikes and rode them everywhere and on the weekend...

If you want the sameness and predictability of international hotel chains don't come here! We had the 2 bedroom Orchid Suite which was perfect for a family of 4 adults which needed 3 beds. They put a rollaway in the lounge and there was still lots of room to sit comfortably. We loved our balcony. We got ourselves a takeaway...

After our recent stay on 8/13 I received a email from the "Concierge Team." "Please email us any thoughts you would like to share with us about your experience." So I sent them the email below. These issues were not major, but collectively for a $178 a night stay it did not feel like a B&B atmosphere. I never did...

We enjoyed a spacious suite on the third floor. The Inn is in a quiet neighborhood and the occasional train whistle was not a problem for us. We also had normal water pressure. The staff was attentive and the breakfasts by Linda were quite special. The lovely building and its history fit right into our history-laden visits to all things...

We stayed in the Iris room on the second floor and had no problem with water pressure that others have mentioned. The room was good, if a little filled with fru-fru. The breakfasts seemed to be nicely done and larger than normal. And the wine and cheese in the evening was appreciated. Our only issue was that the first night...

We quite enjoyed our recent stay at this Inn. We came to Springfield to do all things LIncoln and were surprised to find that the Inn is within walking distance of almost everything, the Lincoln Tomb being the only exception which is only a few miles drive. Our room was clean, comfortable and relaxing after two long days of walking...

Here to see the Lincoln sites on a road trip. Perfect location within walking distance of downtown. We had booked a room in the main house but we were upgraded to a suite which was fabulous. This room was in a separate house in the back of the property with its own porch. This Wisteria suite was large, comfortable and...
