Lovely location, quiet and right on the river. Private room inside a small cottage with shored bathroom and small kitchen area. We were the only guests the night that we stayed so had the run of the place. Even though we were the only guests, our very kind host still provided us with a good breakfast in the morning.

Dear Katie H. Thank you for your review on Trip Advisor. Our uncle, Vigfús, chose well when he built the old farmhouse around 1930 on the outskirts of town Borgarnes. Thank you for staying with us and for ranking us so highly. We look forward to welcoming you back to the guesthouse in the near future. Best regards Heiður Hörn

Our room was big enough to sleep 4, nicely decorated, with a very well-equipped kitchen area. The proprietress was friendly and informative and her mother's homemade jams were the best!! W e stayed here our first night in Iceland and it was a great introduction to the country. Scenic and easily located.

The location is quiet and has lovely views over the river. Our room barely held the two twin beds and shared one bath room and shower with 6 guests. No soaps or moisturizers were included. A lovely small kitchen was available for the 3 bedrooms to share and we enjoyed making coffee and using the small refrigerator. The TV was...

Lovely little b&b in Borgarnes. Area is scenic, quiet, and right on the water. Staff were friendly and helpful. Facilities were well equipped (full shared kitchen) and bedrooms were comfortable and cozy. Only suggestion would be to raise the shower head a bit in the bathroom - I'm used to having to duck a bit for showers when traveling but...

Found on the north side of Borgarnes, follow signs to this B&B. Parking lot small. Have to carry luggage down stairs to get to the B&B. We had a room that had two single beds and a bunk bed. We shared the washroom with two other rooms. Washroom was two separate rooms - one with a toilet and sink and...

We were looking for a room that was little away from the centre so that we could do some night photography. We found this place well suited for our purpose, it had an amazing views of the mountains and the bridge just outside of it. The room itself was spacious and the kitchen was well equipped. Overall it was very...

This was the nicest guest house we stayed at during our eight day stay in Iceland. The location is perfect with parking and a choice of suite or room with shared bathroom and kitchen facilities. We chose a room with shared bathroom and kitchen and it was perfect. To be honest, part of what made it so perfect was the...

This lovely farmhouse was the base for our trip along the west coast of Iceland. It is run by a lovely family. The owner was very easy to talk to and very helpful. She gave us advice on the weather conditions for driving as it is winter time and recommendations for nearby restaurants for dinner in the evening. The accommodation...

We spent two nights at Bjarg and it was by far our favourite guesthouse during our week stay in Iceland. The hostess was welcoming and friendly (and knew all about the incoming weather!) and had the cutest little dog! The cabin facilities were well equipped, you could quite easily self cater there. The town is within easy reach so you...
