Arrived just after 10pm from Akureyri by Car. Easy find! Thankfully the owner was checking in someone at that time of night.. The owner was helpful but more smiles needed please!..Check-in seemed like hard work. Tables in Restaurant still had beer cans lingering around at 845am. Bedrooms need cheering up a bit..They are a little sad looking..One night was enough..More...

We stayed here only for one night and had a good stay overall. The hotel is outside of Borgarnes, but we had a car anyway. It feels more like a motel than a hotel, you park your car right outside the room. We were positively surprised by the very nice staff and the breakfast. The room itself was basic, but...

Basic room, nothing special. In-room bathroom and shower. Standard Icelandic breakfast--cheeses, meats, breads, etc. The best was the affordable price and great location. Would we stay again? Probably not, unless we were really pinching pennies.

Stopped over at this hotel for one night. The toilet flushes weird in our room. Had to hold it down for more than 15 seconds. Heard our neighbors through the thin walls. Equal to a motel 6. But front desk was helpful with menus of the major restaurants in town. Decent value. And would stay here again in a pinch...

We stayed in Feb. 2017. We had a huge room with high ceilings and private bath and a private terrace. We arrived during one of the biggest snow storms in the area. The owner told us he did not have to hire plowing services in the past 3 – 4 years. Our room was big, plenty of room for 3...

After landing at Keflavik we drove straight to Borgarnes. The hotel is situated just outside the town but perfectly clean and quiet. The staff is very helpful. The breakfast buffet was fine, the food was good and plentiful. A great base to explore the region

The rooms are basic but offered all we needed for a stop over on our Icelandic tour. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Hot drinks provided at all times of the day- very helpful at night when you're waiting for the Northern Lights to make an appearance 😊

Owner was very helpful, we arrived late at night with out booking. The bed was really nice, and the breakfast was really good. Got the room for a good price. All we needed for a short nap between a long drive destination.

We booked a room with shared bathroom prior to our arrival but was pleased to be upgraded to a nice double room with an ensuite. Hotel was easy to find, hard to miss the bright sign near the main road. The reception area was nice and big, plenty of seating space. Free coffee/tea available all day. There's also a hot...
