As first time visitors to the Mourtemeno we had read the reviews and had no regrets. We stayed for a week in July and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. We had room 16 on a B&B basis. The room was clean, a good size balcony with the sun from 11am to sunset. We didnt opt for the Aircon (7 Euros a day)...

Mourtemeno We have just returned from a week’s holiday in Syvota followed by a second week in Parga. The hotel is rather basic but friendly and in a good location. There are several beaches nearby that you can walk to and a road train stops right outside that gives you access to beaches further away. The pretty harbour with its...

Just returned from two weeks stay at the Mourtemeno. This is based on room 13,as we did not use the facilities of the hotel such as breakfast, bar or the pool. Room 13 must have originally been two interconnecting hotel rooms which have been turned into a one bed apartment, so was of a good size. With two separate balconies...

Stayed here for a week at the end of June. For us, personally, it was in a good location. The hotel was typical basic Greece, very clean and not too large. We were given an apartment at the front shaded by trees so very comfortable. Lovely clean pool and good bar. Everyone was friendly, met some lovely people. Lovely small...

My friend and I stayed here very recently and , while I can not fault the staff or the hotel the details about it's location are NOT true. I am in my 70's and the five minute walk (if you had a car it would take 5 minutes) to the beach is a great exaggeration. We were dropped off by...

We stayed here a few years ago and really love Sivota so we decided to return to The Mourtemeno Hotel on self catering. My wife had read bad reports about the noise if you are in room 17 and we were obviously hoping this was not our room. Of course it was! The problem is it is located at the...

We went with Olympic Holidays very last minute, and paid hardly anything so were extremely impressed with the hotel, and the beautiful village. We didn't use the pool much or eat, but had drinks occasionally. Lovely places to eat, very cheap to rent boats and a lovely holiday! Recommend seeing the Meteora, despite the long drive, absolutely breath taking.

We visited Sivota at the beginning of August and after spending many a happy holiday on the Greek Islands didn't know what to expect of the mainland. We had nothing to worry about. Sivota is a beautiful part of Greece and we will definitely be returning. The hotel was basic as most reviews say but it was clean and sheets...

Hotel Mourtemeno is a lovely little hotel. The staff are the friendliest people (Woo Xristos!!!) and full of knowledge about the area. the room was nice and big and had a huge balcony that was great for breakfast and the occasional dinner infront of an incredible view. would have been nice to have an oven or microwave of some sort...
