This apparently was once a Rodeway Inn, now taken over by the Captain Cook Hotel (across the street). It has been impressively upgraded. The rooms were huge with a frig and microwave as well as basic dishes. Coffee provided. A complementary breakfast (wheeled over from the Captain Cook) was provided with eggs bacon cereal, yogurt, pastries, coffee and pancakes (a...

The facility itself is very nice for a 2 star hotel, however, paying over $200 a night for a room is hardly cheap. The rooms are spacious and comfortable and a nice breakfast is served. However, the manager is AWOL all weekend with no way to resolve issues.....drunk man beating on door at 3:00 AM, toilet overflowing twice, maids did...

Just finished a complete remodel and what a great job they did. Pleasant staff to check in, great room, lots of space and comfortable bed. Breakfast was very good and lots to choose from. Vocation was right downtown near everything, no need for a car.

Don't be put off by the slightly tired look of the corridors. Our room was very spacious, well-decorated and comfortable with a partial view of the sea. Across the road from the Captain Cook with access to its facilities. Perfect for access to all of Downtown and the Coastal Trail. If you're in Anchorage for a day or two and...

Spent one night at this hotel this week and was surprised how nice it was. The hotel has just gone under a major remodel and looks great. Large rooms with a small kitchenette. They also had a free breakfast which was a great way to start the day.

Cozy, quiet, and provides a great amount of space. The kitchen is also very welcome, along with a coffee maker that actually works. However, there was a glove and bouncy ball behind a couch. Other than that it was very clean. Staff was welcoming, breakfast was alright, probably better if you just slept in. That all being said, I would...

Got a suite for a weekend shopping excursion to anchorage. The price was right and the suite was comfy. New flat screen TVs in both rooms. (There was a pullout sofa-bed in the entryway area which closed off to be its own room.) The decor and color scheme was dated...but hey, it was clean, warm, and a fine weekend spot...

We had to book a "last minute" room through a "sister" hotel, so we had no choice really, didn't check any reviews beforehand, so we were pleasantly surprised to have a large comfortable suite at this hotel. It was clean, not modernly decorated, but very comfortable with all the needs you require. No smells in our room (and I am...

Great little hotel in downtown Anchorage, most sights are well within walking distance. The staff was helpful, the rooms were large, the beds were outstanding and the continental breakfast was adequate. This was the 2nd time that we have stayed at this facility and were more than satisfied on both occasions with our selection. however, we were informed that the...

The location is very convenient, just downtown. The room was large and comfortable, although had a slight stale smell. Brakfast was very basic, and since there is no breakfast room we had to take the trays to eat in our room. Really I have nothing bad to say about this hotel. However we had the impression that most of the...
