We called the Bear Suite home for 2 nights. It truly IS a Suite! Very generous room plus a large bathroom with Jacuzzi & large shower. There is a vanity and sink outside the full bathroom also as well as a huge walk-in closet. Our total Alaska trip was 19 days, so it was nice to have room to spread...

We stayed in the Ocean Suite for 3 nights. Loved the spacious bedroom with King size bed and the huge bathroom (however I did feel the shower curtain was due to be changed). Garnett's breakfast dishes were delicious, although we would have preferred fresh assorted fruit (typical of most of the B&Bs where we have stayed), instead of the sweet...

The Morrow's were so welcoming. We really enjoyed learning about the history of their time in Alaska. Garnett's breakfasts were wonderful. The rooms and baths were modern, spacious, and comfortable. Don't miss Garnett's Gnome Village near the garden area. It is very clever and well done. Moose Gardens has our highest recommendation and we would gladly stay there again.

When you drive in the long dirt driveway they have several very nice large flower gardens a very large Nome village on the side. Also many used junk vehicles. We were 3 couples and rented 3 of the rooms. The room and bathroom was clean and comfrontable and many stuffed animals and rubber ducks etc. in all. There are 3...

We stayed one night in the Bird Suite. The room was charming, there was a deck with a nice view of the mountains, and the bathroom was also nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and we slept great. The only negative was that the curtains are not very dark and the light coming in early in the morning could wake...

We stayed here at the beginning and end of our Alaska trip. It is a wonderful b&b and the hosts are lovely and very friendly. The breakfasts are amazing, you don't need to eat lunch after as there is so much food offered. It is also close to the airport making it an ideal location for end of trip.

We stayed in the Bear Room. Had to leave early for a flight so we didn't get the full breakfast, but Garnet made us a plate to go with two kinds of quickbreads, a hard boiled egg, organic banana, OJ, and more - so you can imagine what the full breakfast might have been! Beautiful well kept gardens. Both shower...

Touring Alaska on a budget, and Moose Gardens a very affordable stay. Easy to find, setting was pleasant and quiet, hosts are great, rooms comfortable, and the breakfast one of, if not the very best, of the whole trip.

We had both of the suites for one night on arrival to Anchorage. Close to airport and Kincaid Park. the rooms are larger and beds are comfortable. The breakfast was the best we had the whole vacation. Only real downside was no blackout shades. Don't understand why you would run a B&B and not invest in them for your guests

Stayed at Moose Gardens for one night in early June before heading down south to Seward. Right before we turned up the gravel driveway a huge female moose popped out of the brush and gave us our first taste of Alaska wildlife! Home was really beautiful, with magnificent gardens (we were there early so big flowers weren't out but still...

“Lots of steps from the parking area into the home and then up to the second floor. They could use a sign as to where the guest entrance of the home actually is. It was the 3rd door we tried. Bear Suite was great location though and reasonably priced. King bed is a bit worn, but we slept very well. Loved the views and balcony. Wifi is only available if Mayra has her device turned on. It is not on at all times.”
