We stayed here two nights. Rooms very small but come with a private toilet and shower which is important for us. Our room has a view of the Carepark. Quite noisy. Can hear people talking in the next room. Heating now great. Probably wouldn't stay again but nice enough.

All hotels in Anchorage are expensive during the summer season, this offered a slightly cheaper alternative to the big chain hotels. The room was small but clean. The ensuite was clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was not brilliant but certainly adequate.

No elevator! Room was cramped, carpet disgusting ,ceiling fan FILTHY and needed repaired. We asked for the fan to be cleaned and repaired 4 times. No airconditioning miserably hot for sleeping. We will tell everyone we know to not stay there.

We arrived jet lagged to be told our room had been booked to someone else and there were no more rooms in the hotel? with seperate beds. We had booked online in May 2016 and stayed the last week in August. We were told we could be refunded and find any hotel. We are in our 60's and arrived at...

There are no elevators so if you have a problem carrying your luggage to the 2nd floor this hotel is not for you. The rooms are very tiny and didn't "feel" clean. Very disappointed. $177 for one night was $127 too much.

Yes, Anchorage is expensive and it was at the weekend of the big air-show ... but $US200 a night (pre-paid) for this was unbelievable. We arrived early and stored our luggage in a junk room. Registration (could hardly call it a lobby) is downstairs and our room was on the third floor (no lift and no assistance). The room was...

Let's face it: Alaska is expensive, and so is Anchorage. So this hotel represented the best value for money I was able to find. Nonetheless, both rooms and furniture must be completely renovated. Pros: very cental location and super friendly staff.

After traveling all night and arriving at 3:30am Alaska time( 6:00am for us) we were welcomed by sweet, energetic desk agents. They couldn't have been more helpful. The room was large, clean and up to date. Great view from the window. Super amazing grizzly on second floor. (Yes, stuffed). Was not thrilled to pay for coffee in the lobby, and...

Very friendly and helpful staff. Will pick up and deliver to Anchorage airport free of charge. Place is older with old furniture, but comfy bed. Decent bathroom with the basics, nothing fancy, nice water flow in shower. My room was downstairs in the lowest level--half basement, Outside window opened up next to fence where noisy food vans ran from mid-morning...

The Anchorage Downtown Hotel was less expensive than many others, but the value is doubtful. The room was very small and we had lots of road noise. The internet was extremely slow -- we ended up using our data plan instead. The staff was helpful, but not very friendly. The shuttle to the airport was convenient. The breakfast was OK,...
