The Arctic Fox Inn offers a 5 Star experience. The room and bed were so comfortable and the inn is in a great location. The breakfast they served was delicious too. I'm looking forward to staying there again. Thank you Arctic Fox Inn

Arctic Fox Inn is a clean, quiet and charming B&B. In the mornings you can look forward to a sumptuous well-laid out breakfast. This is all that we wanted after our adventures around wild Alaska and the Arctic Fox Inn did not disappoint. I would go back there again. Highly recommend it

Enjoyed a 2 night stay at the Arctic Fox inn. Lovely suite - very clean, the beds were comfortable, the furniture was of good quality, convenient parking, great breakfast choices, full kitchen facilities. The owners are clearly proud of their Inn. We used the on-site laundry which was very convenient for us. Alex who checked us in and showed us...

The Arctic Fox was a nice surprise. After staying in several places in Alaska I was expecting a clean and maybe a bit rustic feel. But once inside we found a beautifully decorated modern home-like feel. A nice dining room table and adjacent living room/sitting area looked out onto a sun deck. Breakfast was very good. Our host and staff...

Our room was modern & very clean; beds were quite comfortable. The air was crisp and cool at night, so with the windows open we were lulled to sleep by the sound of trains in the distance and small planes overhead. Our hosts were helpful and accommodating and the breakfast was very good (awesome coffee!), After breakfast we sat on...

It is a nice B&B- well situated with downtown, easy to find and does have a nice balcony with chairs and table where one can relax- but do not expect mountain views. Rooms are tastefully done with all modern amenities one may require. Breakfast is good. Prior to reaching there. Owners are very responsive before and during the trip. Overall...

Peaceful and clean. Super hospitality and surely to stop there. Breakfast is really good. Moreover it is located close to dowtown and a quick walk till there in a sunny day is more than affordable. Really suggested to anybody

My only complaint is that due to the age of the building some areas of the floor (or floors above) make a lot of noise. I had a room with a shared bathroom. The two rooms both shared a wall with the breakfast area, so if you are getting a room with a shared bathroom expect to be woken up...

Breakfast 5/5 Bathroom 2/5 (water pressure good, sink terrible, towels good and replaced daily, sharing was uncomfortable) Management 4/5 Value 4/5 (Expensive, but less than 1/3 the cost of the Hilton which is also downtown) *Bumped to 4 stars because it really is a nice building with great food. Anchorage just isn't a good place to visit when you're young,...

This is an excellent alternative to the usual (and expensive) chain hotels in the Anchorage area. We spent two nights at the Arctic Fox Inn. Very convenient location, comfortable and spacious room, and a good breakfast. Hosts were very helpful with restaurant and other activity ideas.

Thank Eric J

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Our property sits on the edge of downtown Anchorage overlooking the Cook Inlet, AK Railroad train depot, Ship Creek (urban salmon fishing!), Historic Government Hill, and one of the only water towers in Alaska. The call of seagulls and a light, salty breeze will remind guests that they're near the ocean, while distant train whistles and the sound of bush planes pay homage to The Last Frontier. Our multiple decks and outdoor seating areas are a great place to relax with your group and enjoy all the perks of being so close to the city and wilderness, which means you can simultaneously take in views of the city and uninhabited mountain ranges. We offer a range of upscale room options, from private rooms with a shared bath to complete two bedroom suites with living area, kitchen & fireplace. “The area may look a bit scary as it is downtown. But we were never concerned. A homeless shelter or soup kitchen is nearby but we were not bothered by anyone. Upon making my reservation the owner/manager called me and suggested we upgrade from a studio unit to the two bedroom apartment since there were four of us. The upgrade cost was minimum and we are so glad we did. We are sure we were much more comfortable.”
