we stayed in the suite upstairs. the room was clean! with a comfortable bed and plenty of channels. the breakfast was sub-par, more of a grab and go (pastry, juice, etc.), but the in-room coffee was very good. close to the bike trail. didn't have the warmth and charm of a bed and breakfast.

I took a trip from Fairbanks for the weekend to spend 4th of July weekend in Anchorage. Normally I stay in a hotel when vacationing, but decided to try something different this time. My stay at the Coastal Place B&B was great. It was very well kept and original colors and design. Not like the regular boring hotel rooms. It...

Daniel and Micah, the gratious owners, were awesome! My husband and I were in the process of relocating to Alaska from Texas and they accomodated us in every way. The room here was super comfortable and clean with in-room individual-cup coffee maker and a luscious bed! Plus, being from Texas I LOVED having a fireplace. You have a great view...

I travel to Anchorage for business fairly regularly, and have stayed in many of the hotels in town. All the rooms are the same, all the faces the same, only the name on the invoice changes. I had never stayed at a B&B before, and figured I'd give it a shot. Coastal Place was a breath of fresh air! I...

This was possibly the best b&b I've ever stayed at. Micah and & Daniel were very accomodating, the room was very clean and comfortable. The care they took in the decor of their b&b shows. Wi-fi is avaiable which is nice and the breakfast that was included was tasty. This b&b was close to downtown and I walked everywhere. Right...

While centrally located to downtown Anchorage, you will find this place very different from what they describe on their website. The wife and I stayed for two nights as a prelude to our cruise. It is a small cottage renovated into two or three bedrooms and an owners suite. We stayed downstairs in the owners suite which was located down...

What an amazing place! Our travels originated elsewhere in Alaska and hadn't gone well, so by the time we arrived at Coastal Place, we were desperate to find some rest and relaxation. Wow, is this place relaxing! Proprietors Micah and Daniel, simply put, are two of the friendliest and most gracious hosts. We were obviously stressed upon our arrival, and...

My wife and I stayed at Coastal Place for an extended time period. We thoroughly enjoyed staying in a residential area right on the edge of the downtown – we could walk to all the attractions and return to the quiet of Bootlegger’s Cove. It’s also just a couple blocks from the ocean and the 10-mile coastal trail, which is...
