Stayed there twice in my trip. Few days here then went up to Denali then came back before flying out. Need to say this as this is a 2 part review. Staff is nice. Easy to check in and out. You can hear the train...More
So, the rooms are a little shabby and a little cramped . . . but this is a great location and the staff was friendly. This option was totally fine for an overnight in Anchorage. We would stay here again if we return to Anchorage.
We stayed one night while on a week trip through Alaska. Beautiful hotel and rooms
We were in room 1165. Nice and quiet. Nice view looking out to see the trains come in. They had a market in the parking lot across the street so...More
Check-in was quick, service was solid, room was typical of a Hilton, amenities were good. But..it was NOISY! A train goes by multiple times during the night plus street noise plus other hotel guests plus a ceiling fan about 20 feet away from our door.

Hello Judy G,
Unfortunately, we do not have shuttle service from the airport. There are two ways you can get to us from the airport, without renting a car. The first one is a taxi, on average it runs about $20 one way. Or you can take a city bus. The number 7 bus travels between the airport to downtown every hour, it cost $2 one way and the bus will drop you off just a few blocks from our hotel.

It was $40 for valet parking, no other parking option available. There is a pay per hour lot on the next block (3rd and E) that's open to the weather but at $1.25 with no daily limit, it's not reasonable. It's $22 taxi from... More
It was $40 for valet parking, no other parking option available. There is a pay per hour lot on the next block (3rd and E) that's open to the weather but at $1.25 with no daily limit, it's not reasonable. It's $22 taxi from the airport and the hotel does not have a shuttle, paid or free.
