The Bent Prop is a perfect place to stay in Anchorage if one is on a budget, or if (like myself) one just likes the feel of a hostel. This is a clean, friendly, no-frills spot with all the things one looks for in a hostel. Two friends from college and I were meeting up to do a backpack trip...

I stayed at the midtown location and was so impressed! I had a private room, which had it's own kitchen! For the price, you can't beat it! It was clean, well decorated and even had granite/marble counter tops and tile flooring. I will definitely choose to stay at Bent Prop Inn during my next visit to Anchorage. The owner greeted...

This place is a great hostel - clean, good location, quiet. My son and I stayed there during our Alaska motorcycle trip for two nights and were very happy with it. What makes the place special, however, are the hosts Cindy and John. There go out of their way to make you feel welcome and help you out in any...

We had a very enjoyable stay at the BPI Midtown. The managers, John and Cindy, were very welcoming and generous. The appartment was clean, spacious and well appointed. The BPI Midtown offers very good value and I would highly recommend it.

John and Cindy made our stay at the Bent Prop Inn (Midtown) very special. Cindy was very generous with food supplies and John helped us with transport in town and to the airport, and made sure we drove on the correct side of the road. They also invited us to share meals with them - very kind and generous people....

Clean, cozy place with extra friendly owners and stuff. Heaps of useful information at hand whenever required, even got a bottle of fruitful Cabernet Sauvignon for free!!! Will certainly come back whenever in Anchorage.
