Very nice B&B, excellent breakfast, special athmosphere in an old house but with modern comfort, very friendly staff, good options to use public transportation in short walking distance and to explore Seattle w/ o a car.

I have stayed at the Chambered Nautilus during two trips to Seattle and love the location, the house and property, and the ambiance. The management and staff were very friendly and the breakfasts were great. I only wish I had not been so busy and could have spent more time on site in the inviting sitting room, sun porch, and...

If you are looking for a place to stay near UW you cannot beat this location. Easy walking distance to numerous shops and restaurants. The three nights I stayed I slept well each night - very quiet and peaceful. Although parking in this area of Seattle is at a premium the owner will guarantee a parking space near the bed...

We recently stayed at the Chambered Nautilus for the last two nights of our visit to Seattle. Lovely place. We stayed in the Sunrise Suite and it was very nice. The bedding is high eland, and the bed was comfortable. We only stayed for one breakfast, which was fabulous, but the last day of our stay they packed us a...

We wanted to stay in/near the University District to be near some friends and we did not want a standard hotel (I travel a lot and wanted something more cozy). The Chambered Nautilus was perfect! It is not in the heart of downtown, but is really close to everything you might want to see. We had a rental car (for...

The stay at Chambered Nautilus B&B was very nice but I was unable to avail myself of most of the amenities. Breakfast, which I hear is fantastic, begins at 8am and I had to be picked up for business at 7am. My room was the Eagles Nest Chamber on the top floor. It was a very nice room with adequate...

Although this b&b in the University District is lovely, it is not right in the busy downtown if that is what you want. Traffic in Seattle is challenging, and so are the streets and bridges all which must be traversed to get into town. We had a lovely suite, which in fact, was a full apartment. It is nicely appointed,...

My husband and I with our 18 & 19 year old daughters were very happy with our stay. We visited August 11 - 13 and wished we could have stayed longer. The B & B was just as beautiful as exepected. Very nice staff and wonderful food. We had an early morning flight out and they were so kind to...

Our stay in the Ravenna Suite was relaxing and enjoyable. The breakfast was delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the property, especially coffee and cookies outdoors in the evening! The suite was clean, private, and comfortable. Staff were available as needed and we met Steve on the way to going out one evening, and Joyce one...

“We had the Scallop Chamber room, which is on the top floor. It was quiet, clean and very comfortable. Only one window faces east, so the sun did not wake us up in the morning :-) There are stairs to climb, but that was no problem for us at all.”
