Start with the positives. I was greeted warmly and the lobby is nice decorated. The bed was reasonably comfortable. The bathroom was fine. That's about it. The parking spaces are terribly narrow. My room and even the hallway had a strong smell of staleness, maybe cleaning products. I opened the window to air it out and the loud roar of...

While it sounds like your room was satisfactory, I regret that your overall stay with us was not. We are currently renovating our entire facility, the adhesive and cleaning materials for which can sometimes leave a strong odor. The fitness center has not yet been renovated, and I regret that it was in such a state of disrepair during your...

I purposefully chose this hotel because i wanted to avoid parking fees and as much auto traffic as possible, easy to find, and had nearby transit to city center. This hotel is perfectly suited on all points. Less than 2 blocks to bus stop for the E line and 30 minutes ride into town. Free parking at the hotel and...

I'm glad that you enjoyed your stay on the whole, but it sounds like you spent a lot of time waiting and I regret that quite a bit. We're currently renovating our facility and hiring a new front desk staff, which gives us the opportunity to both improve our service capacity and swiftness. I hope you'll return to us on...

Professional staff, very helpful and courteous. The location was a short walk to Space Needle and attractions. Breakfast was quite adequate and a nice room. Price was good for the city. The staff was very helpful in keeping our luggage before and after check-in until we were ready to leave Seattle.

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay! We're actually quite a long way from the Space Needle (about eight miles), but Seattle's primary bus line stops just two blocks from our front door and can transport guests into the heart of downtown Seattle, which certainly minimizes walking. We hope you'll stay with us again.

While it is far from the nicest hotel we have stayed in on our cross country trip, it was a decent place based on the rate. The building appears to have been converted from something else. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. We booked a room with a refrigerator and microwave and found we actually had a small kitchen...

Thank you for your response! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. You are correct that ours is an older building, which is why we are currently renovating the entire building. Should your travels bring you back to Seattle, we hope you'll stay with us again in our renovated facility!

First of all, the front desk staff is to be commended, both at check-in and check-out times. Staff was efficient, fast and courteous. Upon check-out, the front desk mngr Gary (or Larry, with glasses) helped us plan the timeline of our itinerary, and even printed out Google map instructions for us - so very thoughtful of him. Our room was...

Thank you for your review of your recent stay! We appreciate you taking the time to complete our survey as thoroughly as you did. Your feedback has helped us identify specific areas where we can make precise improvements, most of which deal with inter-departmental communication. Your request for extra toiletries was received and, while I regret that we failed to...

We stayed in this property because of the great rate I got online through a Choice Hotels corporate rate. It was enticing b/c of the straight shot to downtown, but was far enough away that it wasn't crazy expensive. Rooms were big, clean, and the staff friendly. Parking & security- I never felt unsafe. You have to use a key...

Staff was excellent and kind! Rooms were clean and updated. Breakfast was appreciated. It makes our day easier when we don't have to figure out breakfast esp with kids. Neighborhood is a little industrial. I would not call it residential. There is Sam's club and a car audio store on either side of the hotel. Neighborhood has small shops, gas...

Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad our recent renovations and complimentary breakfast were to your liking. While the residential communities that border us on the north and east are not immediately visible from the main thoroughfare, you provide an accurate description of Aurora Avenue. It is for our guests' peace of mind that we happily provide a safe and...

Much less pricey than hotels right in the city, but within an easy drive to the center. Room was clean, staff was for the most part helpful, and breakfast was quite good, though, like almost every place we stay these days, there is never enough seating for everyone at breakfast. Why in the world would you have just a handful...

Deb, thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay. I'm glad you enjoyed it! You're absolutely right about the tightness of our breakfast area, and, since we're currently renovating our facility, I'm happy to report that it's one of our top priorities. We hope that you'll appreciate the expansion on your next visit!
