Detailed Reviews
Had a great experience with this hotel in early December. We stopped by early to drop off our bags prior to check in, the front desk staff said our room was ready and checked us in waiving the $25 fee (HH Gold status). Came back a week later and had a completely different experience. Arrived an hour early, our room was ready, but they would not waive the early check in fee. We decided to wait, but honestly if the room is ready, why not just waive the fee and check us in? Consistency in hotel policies would be appreciated. The details like this can really make or break an experience. As Hilton brand loyal travelers, may consider other options in the future.

Following my Alaskan cruise, my spouse and I were totally disappointed with our stay in this hotel and in Hilton as a brand, which I have used for over ten years. For the per night rate, there should not be mold in the shower or a broken toilet seat (couldn't post the video showing how loose the seat was). When checking, the clerk was only just "so sorry you weren't satisfied with your room." Hilton needs a better Satisfaction Guarantee!
Even after pointing out Hilton had listed on their website a lower rate than I reserved the room for ON their website, the answer was "you have to make us aware ahead of time." The only plus was the $22 the clerk deducted from the bill on the drink vouchers I did not use. I'm glad I only stayed one night. I stayed at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel around the corner prior to my cruise and it is absolutely a better place to stay for a similar rate.

We stayed here while I was in town for a convention. This was a conference hotel and I booked through my organization, so I figured it'd be solid. I needed to adjust my dates a few weeks prior so I called and was upgraded to a suite for the same price of my original room. Awesome! I may have to switch my loyalty to Hilton! Anyway, the suite was pretty nice. It was HUGE, with all the expected living spaces, including a small kitchenette. It wasn't swanky by any means but still very nice. Housekeeping came in each day without fail, so we never wanted for anything. The space was carpeted and it was clear that it got a fresh vacuuming every day. I don't know about the service in the other rooms, but the suites get the attention for sure. The location was very good and we could walk nearly everywhere. Yes, downtown Seattle has a lot of unhoused people and that gets scary, honestly, as many are dealing with mental illness. However, I didn't see anyone posted up outside the hotel, but they are certainly scattered all over downtown. When we passed unhoused folks, they didn't bother us, so that was fine. The hotel was peaceful, and we really appreciated that too.

We stayed here for 3 nights and were a bit disappointed. The location is within walking distance to all downtown tourist destinations, great restaurants and cafes, and light rail stations, but the streets surrounding this place are littered with homeless people and unsavory characters, so beware. The hotel itself is nothing to write home about. Our room (an upgrade I was assured , for we are Dimond members) looked tired and outdated, and nothing like the pictures on this page. The mattress sunk in the middle causing an uncomfortable sleep. The walls are paper thin, so one could hear the rude neighbors coming in drunk in the middle of the night. We were in the 19th floor, so no street noise at all. The staff is lovely, very friendly and attentive although I was being overcharged for an extra 24 hrs of parking, so ask to have your bill itemized at check out before you leave. Parking is very expensive at $71 per 24hr period, so avoid driving there if possible. We had to drive 1 hr north of Seattle for a family event, and unfortunately had to rent a car for one day, but the parking fee at this hotel cost more than the daily car rental fee. As Diamond members we got a $40 food voucher per day for 2 people ($20/day pp) to eat at Frolik, the restaurant in the hotel. The food was subpar and the service poor, and the $40 voucher covered just under 2/3 of our bill, so this was another disappointment... We ate there the first morning (huge mistake) and never went back. Used our food voucher at the ridiculously over priced hotel snack and drink stand. We cannot recommend this place as we will not stay again.

10/10 would come back here again. The service, view, security, and other services were great.
I had help from Steven who works the night shift for the front desk, and he was awesome. The amenities and rooms were amazing as well- albeit if I had one qualm it would be the thin walls.
The hotel was spotless, they can have food microwaved for you, and their staff are more than willing to listen and help with any issues or troubles.

After being loyal Hilton customers for over 30 years this was the most disappointing stay we have ever had at a Hilton property. We arrived early expecting to drop off our luggage and head out to explore. When we checked in we were told by the front desk person that our room was ready and available for us. Great! Then we were told to get access to our room there would be a $50 charge, we hesitated and just looked at each other, then the front desk person said well it will be $25. What? There is nothing in your online policies about an early access fee for your room.
The room was disappointing, not much bathroom privacy. There was a sliding barn style door over the bathroom opening. The door didn't cover the entire opening and provided very little privacy.
There is a daily destination fee, which we knew about before we traveled. What we can't figure out is why there is a destination fee. What made this place so special that you charge a destination fee. No pool! There was a daily $10 credit offered for food in the restaurant, which was over expensive, or snacks in the snack shop. We didn't want or need that. We knew about the fee and paid it but the Destination fee made no sense.
Front desk staff was unfriendly, cold in their attitude. Didn't feel welcoming. This is by far the worst Hilton stay we have ever had.

My experience was way under my expectation. The building had terrible sound insulation, making me be able to hear clearly what the people in the next door talked about, starting as early as 5am and stopping as late as midnight. Unfortunately, the hotel doesn't provide ear plugs so I'd recommend you prepare yourselves if you want to stay here. The position of the shower head is also very low if you're over 6-foot tall. The location is convenient to places such as Seattle Art Museum but also a bit scary: one night I heard someone screaming for help on the street for over 5 minutes at midnight (my room was on 18th floor and I could still hear it clearly). Overall this hotel is just an average 3-star hotel, definitely not deserve 4-star.

My business or travel experiences around the world have never been this bad. This is a very poor hotel, and I strongly do not recommend it.
I stayed at this hotel in August for a business trip. When I arrived at 4 PM, I was informed that my room was not ready yet. The front desk staff didn’t make any effort to assist and simply asked me to wait until 6 PM to check in. Furthermore, during my stay, there were several days when the hotel cleaning was only half-done, and there were even cleaning cloths left in my room. What infuriated me the most was that they charged someone else’s expenses to my bill. I was extremely busy during my business trip and didn’t dine at the hotel restaurant at all. I have requested the hotel to investigate and address the issue multiple times, but they just brushed me off. In fact, my last request has been unanswered for half a month now. Clearly, it was the hotel’s mistake, but they are penalizing the customers. This hotel is truly the worst.

We spent four nights here in late June/early July in a waterfront king room. The layout of the room was nice because it had a separate sitting area with a full sofa. The bed was comfortable and the front desk staff was very friendly and professional.
Unfortunately, due to COVID, no daily housekeeping was offered. There were only two bath towels in the room, so we had to order additional towels for our stay. They could start off with more towels in the room. Also, the soap dispensers in the shower had not been filled and one was completely empty when we checked in. In addition, there were hairs in the shower and it obviously had not been cleaned well.
It was sunny and in the 80s on the days we stayed and the AC struggled to keep the room cool, especially in the afternoons when the sun shined in. The temperatures would rise to near 80 each afternoon unless we kept the drapes fully closed. Even then, temperatures rose to 76 or 77 each afternoon.
Lighting in the room needs to be improved. The lights near the bed gave off a pleasant warm light and could be dimmed but the glass fixtures around them were filthy. In other parts of the room, there were only fixtures with bright white LEDs that gave off an institutional feel.
Also, the bathrooms are not very private. There is a sliding barn-style door that does not lock and that has a 1 to 2-inch gap between the door and the bathroom door frame. People can see into the shower and someone sitting on the toilet. An example of style over function.
We ate at their restaurant, Frolik, for dinner one night. The dinner menu was extremely limited with only a few entrees to choose from. While the food and drinks we had tasted very good, prices were high, especially for mixed drinks, many of which were around $17 or $18.
The location is conveniently just a few blocks from the Pike Place Market. There are a lot of homeless people on nearby Pike Street, many of which appeared to be schizophrenic.
The hotel itself just did not live up to a 4-star Hyatt hotel.

Intentional dishonesty is a significant problem. This hotel advertises on its website, on the Hilton App that they offer digital check in and key. I look for this amenity whenever I chose a hotel for several reasons, the most important are:
• I don’t have to wait in line to check in after a long flight
• Most importantly to me, using our corporate card to check in saves me house of paperwork for reimbursement, doesn’t require me to lay out the money upfront and wait for reimbursement.
Prior to arrival I received a notification that I needed to check in at the front desk to provide ID and a physical credit card instead of the digital key I was promised.
When I discussed it with the manager on duty I was given several lies:
• “Our app says you need toc check in at the desk to provide id” (It doesn’t, I asked them to show me where of course the couldn’t)
• They said it was for my safety
• They said this was the process for first time guests
o First the app doesn’t inform you of that policy nor does the letter I received from them prior to my arrival that promoted and said explicitly that I could go straight to my room and avoid the front desk”
o Secondly according to a hotel industry publication 96% of hotel guests NEVER return to the same property.
They provided several other non-sequitur excuses demonstrating why it was in my best interest not to use the digital check in which have nothing to address my concern that I selected the hotel based on the availability of an amenity of a feature I am not allowed to use. It is the equivalent of promoting having a pool but not allowing anyone too use it because pools are dangerous.
DON”T LIE, be honest with your guests and allow them to make the choice based on accurate information.
Aside from that the hotel itself was mediocre at best. The staff in both the hotel and restaurant/bar were arrogant and aloof. The room itself was small and the temperature was hot wouldn’t cool down which made it comfortable to sleep. The elevators are dated and slow and lobby and public spaces are bland and worn, clearly in need of upgrades. The neighborhood was filled with addicts and homeless and felt very unsafe.
The Grand Hyatt in Seattle is a much better choice.

Yep, $45 for 24 hours, when staying there.
You can have the Motif arrange for a town car to take you at a cost of $40.00. A taxi is $30.00. Alternatively you can take the light rail (VERY close to the hotel and easy to get to) at a cost of less than $5.00. I don't "do" Uber or Lyft so can't help you there!
An Uber most likely will cost $25-35 from the airport to downtown depending upon demand.
They were standard size but in all honesty my girlfriend brought her own and used it instead. She’s very particular about her appliances but I think you’ll find them as good as any at a quality hotel!
They do not offer a shuttle, but we used UBER and it was only about $20 for an XL for the four of us
