Good location to shopping, restaurants, and the university. I gave this hotel an average rating because it really needs an update. It looks like they have started some sort of remodel. If you're planning a trip soon, you might wan to check on that. We also thought it was overpriced.

Thank you for the feedback. You are indeed correct when you noticed our renovation. We are expanding our breakfast and public areas. We are also updating some elements in our guest rooms such as case goods, wallpaper, 55inch HDTV's, lighting and well the list is quite extensive. We would love for you to visit us again in the future and...

My room was clean and quiet, temperature was easily changed and the fan wasn't too loud. The hotel was close to shopping and restaurants and easy access to UW campus. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful and we loved the Happy Hour on Tuesday night. It was much better than anticipated with great snacks and drinks. We will stay again...

Thank you for submitting a review. We appreciate hearing from our guests and their experiences. You will be happy to learn we are continuing to improve our public spaces with a full renovation of the breakfast area and lobby, which should be completed by early spring. I recall my first visit.... I wasn't impressed. My perception has changed. The beds were comfy, pillows were fluffy and the TV is HUGE. All HD. Bathroom were small, yet very clean. Rooms were spacious and have microwave and mini fridge. Breakfast has a decent variety and there is transportation to anywhere within a 3 mile radius. That's pretty cool....

Thank you for the great review and "Here's to second chances". Our guest feedback is essential. It allows us to see from the guests perspective and continually pushes us to the next level. As you probably saw from your most recent visit, we are embarking on an exciting renovation to our breakfast area and lobby facilities. This will give us...

We ended up at this hotel after the initial booking at the Talaris Conference Center hit a glitch. Blessing in disguise as the place turned out to be in a good location considering that our son who's attending college in the city is just 5 mins away. The daily shuttle service compensated for the commute to the conference center. Full...

I stayed in the Silver Cloud last summer. I was expecting so much more than what it was. I did stay one night one week and then two nights, one week later. I was expecting it to be quieter and much nicer. The photos of the property are indicative that it is plush and quiet. Not the case. It was...

Place got free shuttle, onsite exercise room, full breakfast daily, big 55" TV in each room, what else do you want? Maid service is superb. Staff addressed all questions that came up, that I had. Hotel is in the heart of the College scene (which will flood back old memories).

Wonderful place located just outside of downtown. Rooms are HUGE! and the TV- about 55 inches. The biggest I have seen in a hotel so far. Free breakfast and free parking which is kind of hard to find in the city. Awesome stay during new years eve, away from the partying crowd to think that this is in a college...

We have stayed here annually because its location fits our needs. It has an adequate indoor pool that was unavailable during our most recent stay. The breakfast includes do it yourself waffles which we like.

Hotel seems to have completed renovation of rooms which has greatly improved their condition. Renovation now concentrated on removing indoor pool which has not disturbed guests or lobby, at least so far. Breakfast has been advertised as continental, but this stay included scrambled eggs, sausage, fried potatoes and egg burritos or mini-quiches, as well as the standard bagels, pastries and...

Good hotel at a reasonable price. Conveniently located near the University of Washington, UW Village shopping and the Burke Gilman trail. We stayed in a mini-suite, and there was a lot of room. We will stay here again.
