The Roosevelt Hotel was selected by us because of its outstanding and convenient location in the heart of downtown Seattle near all the tourist sites. This was our first visit to Seattle and will not be our last. Our room was recently renovated, very clean and pleasant, but small and cramped if we did anything except sleep or shower, such...

We were offered one of the newly renovated rooms which were a vast improvement. Rooms are on the small side so pack light. Rooms have a small wine fridge and a coffee expresso machine. Great location as close to Pike Market, rail transport and shopping. We parked next door in underground unattended lot which was $30.00 USD per day.

Its nice location has ac. But no bathroom exhaust fan. Bathroom has some mold growing. Windows needed some extra help to keep it open. We had a very nice view of the rooftop units outside our window. Our Unit did not come with fridge or safe. Maybe a remodeled unit would of looked nicer. Also the main switch was not...

The hotel did not disclose at booking that the place is under renovation. Only one elevator working.long waits. Limited service availability. Jackhammer going off early morning. New renovated rooms but fresh painted. Strong penetrating and uncomfortable odor.

globtrotter4ever, I sincerely apologize for the noise and disruption during your stay. We truly appreciate your feedback and understanding while we make these upgrades. Our renovation has thus far been relatively noise free to our guest as this only occurs for a few hours Monday through Friday, but readily agree the wait times for our lift can seem endless. Thank...

We checked into the hotel early and they had a newly renovated room for us. The hotel is under construction but they don't tell you that till you arrive. Only 1 elevator was available so it took forever. We get to our room and it was more like a janitors closet, maybe 14 feet by 12 feet wide. 1 Queen...

Bath had mold on sink grout, wallpaper seams and shower floor. Quite disgusting. I don't know how this could have happened with their system of auditing each room after housekeeping is finished with their job. Room size was minuscle; For a "luxury" hotel - very disappointed.

Really enjoyed staying here and is a great location downtown! Within walking distance to the Space Needle, shopping, and Pike Place Market. The bed was very comfortable and rooms are designed very well.

no food service available. Rooms small and spartan. Bed softer than I would like. Quiet and functional, bathroom and shower great. Key did not work twice. Lobby good. Front desk helpful and friendly, answering all questions.

We were given an old room, and requested a remodeled one. The front desk allowed me to look at an available one, but it smelled so strong of paint so I refused the offer to change. Valet and Front desk staff were very courteous. Lots of construction going on to remodel this old gem in the heart of downtown Seattle.
