Very friendly, helpful staff in a great location. You can walk to the sealife center and the downtown shops and eateries. Room was very clean. Quirky lobby with lots of taxidermy and antiques. There are also many interesting historical tidbits on the hallway walls. Take the time to read some of them!

Cramped, parking lot view, noise from a "boom" right outside window. And expensive. Not sure which rooms are in the pictures but you can do better in Seward in a hotel that doesn't offer rooms with views of cars-and offers mountain, city or ocean views instead.

We stayed three nights. Doors are old so everyone was slamming them. Not a good idea to stay here in the summer, it was hot! I didn't know I had to share the bathroom with so many people. Will never stay here again. Staff was not very welcoming to me. Especially after I asked if they had a guest refrigerator...

Set about two blocks from the water's edge is a small hotel with great service. There is no central air conditioning but the rooms come with a portable air filter which also serves as an air conditioner. The corner room we had was large and filled with old fashioned furniture. Although the corner room is a great location for views...

We only planned to stay one night but extended our stay an extra night and wish we could have stayed even longer. The staff were very helpful and friendly, we had a great room and a very good location. We will stay there again.

Quirky hotel, lots of taxidermy in the lobby. We had a small room with sink and the bathroom/shower was across the hall, shared with other guests. Quiet. Good location as we could walk to the sea life center, restaurants. Laundromat a few streets away. The room had smell of cleaning products that was pretty strong so we had to leave...

Two couples stayed 2 nights while on a driving tour of Kenai Peninsula. Hotel located in 'old part of town,' i.e., not the small boat harbor area, but a mile or so south in the town. Great front desk staff - helpful, caring, attentive: my wife mentioned that our sink drained slowly - it was fixed the next day; our...

Lovely traditional hotel in the centre, good rooms, outside noise over the weekend, very friendly staff, good breakfasts. The downstairs areas are stylish with tasteful but quirky decoration. Glad we stayed 3 nights, a welcome break and there's enough to do in this area. The walk to Tonsina is a must.

We stayed here for two nights. Seward is an absolutely beautiful town and this hotel was the perfect place for us to stay! It has a historic feel to it, which adds to the charm of the town. We got the room with a private bathroom, which I would recommend. It didn't have air conditioning but they did have a...

This cabin sits on the side of a cliff overlooking the beautiful snow covered mountains and town of Seward. It's a two story log cabin nestled in the trees and includes a hot tub that hangs off the side of the hill. What a wonderful experience. Very private and you can travel by car to the main hotel which is...
