One of the best places we stayed in Alaska! The location was perfect, private, quiet and very close to everything. We could see the bay and mountains from the deck. The comfortable sleeping rooms are in the downstairs area, the living room is upstairs along with the bathroom and kitchen. The owner, Maureen was fantastic and made sure that we... More

Very nice accommodations in a very well situated location. The room is essentially 1/2 of a house, with bedrooms downstairs (1 double, 1 single) and kitchen, sitting room and bathroom upstairs. Very well kept. Fruit, muffins, bagels, banana bread , and assorted cereals provided for breakfast. Maureen, the owner was very friendly and helpful. The location is within easy walking... More

The location is perfect with walking distance to town, and the apartment has everything you could wish for. It was clean and quiet and we appreciated the stocked fridge and fruit. Lots of pretty flowers!

This B& B is located almost at the heart of the tourist/commercial. But it is not on a busy road where there is privacy and peaceful environment. Although it is called a B&B, there is no host every morning. What is needed for continental style breakfast is provided. The guests are expected to prepare breakfast themselves. There is a very... Easily located one street from the main drag. Also a few blocks from downtown Seward and about a 1 mile from the main tour boats piers. The B&B is separate from the main owners living area (shared wall). The bedrooms (2) are downstairs and living area, kitchen, bathroom upstairs. Paved parking in front, very small incline up to the front... More

The Brass Lantern B&B was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Seward. It was clean, comfortable, cozy, and homey. Everything you need is provided for you. There are many choices for breakfast included in the kitchen and fridge. The first level has two twin beds and a separate room with a queen bed. The upper level has a bathroom,... More

This place was the kind of place where you walk in and your first thought is, “I wish I was staying here for a week instead of only one night.” It was an absolutely wonderful place, and clearly the owners have put great thought and effort into every detail. The furnishings and décor were lovely and cozy, and everything was... More

The bath room is up stairs and bedroom down stairs was a real pain. The furniture was very uncomfortable. The BBQ didn't get hot enough r to cook anything. The shower didn't have enough hot water to get thru the 1st shower. Would not stay there again.

B&B negative review response: I apologize we were unable to meet your expectations during your recent stay. Our guests are a top priority and we want them to be comfortable and enjoy their stay. Your comments deeply concerned me. In all honesty, I can also say that I was very surprised. We are very attentive to maintenance issues and we... More

This is a lovely little B and B in the heart of Seward. The baked goods and cookies were wonderful and the owners were very accommodating. We were a party of 2 couples and the layout was a bit odd for that as the staircase to the upstairs and the bathroom is in one of the bedrooms, something you may... More

We stayed two nights in June and would recommend this unit. It is a two-story unit with the beds downstairs and the kitchen, bathroom and sitting area upstairs so if you have trouble with stairs, this isn't the place for you. For us it was no big deal. When you enter, there is an open room with a couple of... More
