Very nice rooms and host. We booked both dens and they are both very well maintained. Shari the host is very friendly and accommodating . There is a grille outside of the den and we had a bbq while staying there.

the only minor problem is in front of the balcony is the viewing of the shopping center rooftop. and you can hear the roof vent noise. Other than that, it is a nice place to stay, it is closer to everything in town.

Stayed for three days in August, 2016 in Den 3 an expanded three bedroom with a great room and full service kitchen at this B&B while visiting Seward. This was idea as we were traveling with a 4 year old in addition to four adults. Great accommodations and walking distance to the town and within two blocks of a Safeway....

We were 2 couples and stayed in the 3 bedroom Den 3 which is a self contained apartment - the 3rd bed is a futon. There is plenty of room to relax in and prepare and eat basic meals. The location is great being 1 block from Safeway and a couple of blocks from the harbour as well as the...

There were four adults in our group so we stayed in Bears Den 1 and 2. The top floor unit is a studio and was very roomy and had everything you may need. The bottom floor has a separate bedroom and a living area. Since the top floor had more open space we used that for our gathering area. It...

The room is spacious and comfortable. It is within easy walking distance to town for us. We had everything we needed. There is an assortment of breakfast items, bagels, muffins, cereal, milk, and orange juice. We liked this because we could eat when we wanted to. There was a good view from the deck, but it was cold and rainy...

We stayed in #2. The house overall is clean and well kempt. The inside is very cute, very clean, and quite comfortable. Wi-fi works great. The location is very convenient. We only gave it four stars due to the pervasive new wall paint smell. We ended up having to buy deodorizers and candles. But then again, it's great that the...

Very nice accommodations. Stayed in room 1-very spacious and clean. Great host. It's about 0.7 miles to the shops. Not convenient unless one has a car which I didn't. Thought the breakfast was very lacking. Not interested in eating a bunch of muffins though there was oatmeal and cold cereal to have.

We spent 3 nights in Den 1 (upper room). This place is spacious and clean. The location is close to downtown and there is a Safeway/Starbucks that you can walk to. Wifi worked great. Tessa (owner's daughter) was helpful and provided great tips on restaurants and activities in the area. The only negative was a couple of big bugs in...

Very clean. Very pleasant. If I make another trip to Seward this year, I would likely stay here again. Just a note for those who care, the upper room gives you a view of the mountains across the highway but you will also be overlooking a couple of rooftops.
