We were very happy with our choice of accommodation. Dean the owner was very friendly, polite, relaxed, and ensured we had all our comforts and requirements available. We were in Kona when hurricane warnings were happening. He boarded up all the windows just in case, but ensured we were happy about this. The building is very new, very clean, a lovely...

My wife and I stayed in The Garden Room for 5 nights on our initial stay in Kona and was greeted by Dean who waited for our very late arrival. This room provided facilities to make breakfast each morning eaten on the garden patio and is close proximity to all of the restaurants and shops. We were provided with coolers...

We stayed as a couple in the Aloha room, which is on the second floor and borders the road. The quality for the price is pretty unbeatable, which is why I give an overall excellent rating. The room was very nice and clean, comfortable, with a few basics like a mini-fridge, microwave, and basic dishes (even wine glasses!). The sink...

Stayed for 9 nights in May 2014 as a couple. We stayed in the Garden room and found it to be perfect for our needs. The place is incredibly well maintained and had all the necessities (fridge, microwave, toaster, coffee machine, cutlery, plates, bowls, mugs, chopping board). While we did not have air conditioning, there is a large ceiling fan...

It's on a main road with all night traffic plus there is heavy construction across the street. Nice welcome and lovely room. Only our Aloha room had A/C and you must leave one window vented for it. One sink doubles for kitchen and bathroom which is awkward. They provide beach towels and boogie boards. Mini frig, microwave and coffee pot....

We stayed in the Hualalai Room for a week in February 2014 and found it to be a perfect fit four our needs. The room is clean and immaculately maintained. The kitchen has just what we need - microwave, toaster, large mini fridge and coffee maker. Kitchen supplies are right on e.g., water glasses, juice glasses wine glasses and coffee...

We were being awaited by our hosts after a very friendly phone call to describe the way. The room is beautiful in a very nice house close to Kailua Kona Village. Perfect location for exploring the island with a rental car. Very good value.

We absolutely loved this accommodation! The rooms are really nice, clean and conveniently setup. There are plenty of 'extras' available, including laundry, beach chairs, even Aloe in case you soaked up a little too much sun! Additionally, the owners are wonderful - very kind, accommodating people who make the stay even more enjoyable. It's a short drive outside busy Kona,...

I stayed at this place in October 2013. My flight was cancelled for the first night and had to rearrange my meet up time which was no problem with Dean, one of the owners. Dean showed me around the property, offered guidance on where to go including a wonderful map that I used even after I departed. The property is...

The owners are very nice people - very accomdating to our needs. The surround is also very nice. Close to the coast and all the restaurants and shops but not too close. But still within walking distance so no need to look for parking, which is a plus.

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
In these Kona rentals, each room is decorated with Hawaiian plantation charm and includes a partial kitchen, eating area, cable television, queen bed and private bathroom. Enjoy the outdoor patio, and if you like, have a barbecue. If your eating out, down town Kona is only a 10 to 15 minute walk where you will find beaches, shopping and restaurants. The property is built an open air, island style design. This means most rooms have screens and shutters for windows. The ocean breeze brings in tropical smells from the coast right to the room. We even have a room with an outdoor shower. ... more   less
