We were concerned about staying on busy Alii Drive. NO PROBLEM. Banyan tree is right on the water with a fabulous view and the sound of crashing waves all day and night. Just wonderful. You don't hear any traffic noise because of the surf sounds. The water is so clear you can see fish and turtles from your balcony. The...

We stayed in Banyon Tree 301 as guests of Candace. Everything was perfect. Lovely spot right on the ocean. Surfers, sea turtles, and whales were a daily view. Beautifully decorated with comfortable furnishings. We thought we might cook but never did. Banyon Mart was across the street for those ice cream runs and other needs. The poke shack about a...

Mahalo Kim for taking time out of your daily schedule to write your review. I love watching the whales. I am continually amazed when these large, beautiful creatures come leaping out of the water (at great heights to boot! ) and land back in the water only to do it again. And you can see all of this right from...

Wow!! Our stay in Banyon Tree #301 was amazing. We have been over to the Hawaiian islands many times, but this is the first time we have truly stayed in an ocean front condo. And, I mean ocean front! You can hear the waves and see the surfers right from the lanai. We had a palm tree outside our window,...

Mahalo for taking time to write your review to share with others. I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed staying oceanfront! It is so amazing to wake in the morning, head to the lanai with your Kona coffee, and watch (and hear! ) the waves roll in as the morning light rises over the mountains to highlight the...

Pros: hear the waves 24-7, surfers every day! Large lanai with table 4 chairs and two lounge chairs, good size living room, galley kitchen, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms. Liquor /convenient store across the street, supermarket 2.3 miles away, pool, hot tub, grill. Con: no air conditioning. I only mention this in case someone can't live without it. This condo is...

Candace made sure our stay was perfect starting weeks before we even arrived. We were furnished with local tips on where to go, where to buy what, best places for everything, directions to anything and everything we might need plenty ahead of time so that our vacation was absolutely trouble free. My husband and our grown daughters and I spent...

Mahalo for taking the time to write your beautiful review! I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay. Yes, the ocean couldn't get any closer....unless you are on a boat. It is so wonderful just to sit on the lanai or in the living room and watch the waves roll in. ( those floor to ceiling windows...

Had a great seven days at the Banyan Tree Condos unit 306. Really, what could be better than Kona Coffee on the lanai in the morning watching surfers do their thing??? Maybe cocktails in the evening watching surfers do their thing, and watching the sun set! The Banyan Tree Condos is a perfect location to go north or south on...

My husband and I spent a week in Kona and stayed in unit 302 at Kona Banyan Tree. We couldn't have been more pleased with our accommodations, ranging from its location to its comfort and functionality to its ocean view, which we couldn't get enough of. If you were any closer to the water, you would be standing in it!...

The carpet was spotted and dirty. the master bed room bed had only box springs and a small piece of corrugated foam. There were urine spots all over the bed. Very disgusting. We were there to celebrate our 44 th wedding anniversary, which was ruined .We were so upset and disapointed.I have several photos of the bed.which I can submit

I am deeply sorry to hear that you had an unpleasant stay while celebrating your 44 years of marriage. Banyan Tree is a smaller complex of only 20 individually owned condos. Some owners manage their condos themselves while others hire management companies. Please be assured that your experience is highly uncharacteristic for accommodations at Banyan Tree. When this issue was...

My parents, myself and twelve year old daughter recently stayed in Condo 302 in the Banyan Tree condos. The first thing you notice is the view of the ocean from the floor to ceiling window.
