Did book it through Hotels.com. Nothing said on the website that these are private condos and not a hotel. There is no breakfast and no bar. We booked 4 nights and unfortunately all other hotels are fully booked at this time. There is no housekeeping and nobody changes the towels. The room was dirty when we checked in. Bloodstains on...

Mini fridge holds enough for one or two meals at a time. Wall Mart is 5 minutes away. These room are pretty close to the pool but on the opposite side from the ocean. Parking is limited. We always came in late at night, so never had a problem. Gas grills are by the]pool along with hot tub and tables...

AVOiD these 2 units, I shout through my virtual internet MEGAHORN!!! Unit # 140 smelled as if it had not been opened in years and some sort of mold was multiplying at a great rate. In addition, the Murphy bed was virtually inoperable for any mere mortal other than its manager Ellen. She admitted telephonically that it was in ill...

The first night at this facility was a total disaster. If I had to rate the facility after one night it would have been a 1 Star. The room has an AWFUL musty odor. The inner bathroom door between the toilet and sink area was broken. The patio door would not open more than six inches. A drinking glass was...

Just had a fantastic week stay at Kona Islander. Booked the same unit #326- the unit makes the difference and if you find a unit and host you like you will enjoy your stay. Units are perfect for 1 person or a couple. More than that in a unit might seem tight- they are studio style units with partial kitchens....

Ideal location for IRONMAN week, but luxury it is not. Our place served its purpose perfectly. It was convenient and comfortable. We got our condo (1 bedroom /2 people) via air B&B. It was not ready when we arrived and was cleaned around us. No lift, we were on third floor. Watch this if you are in town for IRONMAN....post...

The first word that came to mind was "squalid." It did grow on me a bit after I got over the initial surprise, and no bedbugs, so I am giving it two stars as the location and outdoor area were fantastic. Sadly, it seems as if the rooms of this "inn" have been sold off as condos, and are managed...

We stayed for two nights. Location is excellent. Wifi in our room was too weak to stream vide but fine for web pages. Pool and hot tub area are beautiful and nice central courtyard. However, there is a bizarre policy along the one-way entrance. It was POURING rain and I asked my husband and let me out at the stairs...
