We booked this place and the Hilo Seaside hotel because we knew they were the only 2 hotels in Hawaii owned by native Hawaiin families. We were really happy with our room and the location of the hotel was great. It's just round the corner from great restaurants , bars the pier for great sunset views. There's a good pool...

Mahalo for choosing to stay at both of our properties. We take great pride in continuing the tradition of being the only Hawaiian owned and operated hotel in Hawaii!

First let me say I got this as a Priceline blind bid. That made the price great otherwise it be double the cost. With that said, I made it an environment less unpleasant. It's a little dated. But clean. Staff very. Sweet. The location is perfect! You can walk to almost everything or get the $2 trolley. Love the location!!

This hotel is located right in Kailua-Kona so you can walk to all the restaurants. It is not far from the water. It is a bit old but well kept. Ok for the price. Reception were friendly and helpful. Coffee in rooms but no tea. ABC store across the road is handy to pick up drinks or snacks.

After an 11pm arrival, the first thing most visitors desire is a convenient, clean and well-priced accommodation. A quick ride into Kona and the hotel is easy to find. The hotel lobby looked friendly and inviting. Although the hotel is older, the rooms are clean and it was a great place to unwind after a long flight. It was a...

We only booked for one night since we had bookings for the remaining days of our trip. Location is great for shopping and dining. The people there were very friendly and supportive. Parking a bit tight but doable. The room was small but comfortable. It appears clean. Only complaint was that the A/C was very loud just like at many...

My wife and I enjoyed two (2) nights from the 9th to 11th of November 2016. Courteous staff, attentive housekeeping and a great location minutes walk to everything make this family owned hotel a real winner.

Stayed here with a friend nov. 2016 for two nights. The value is hard to beat- location is excellent. We did have problems with parking. It was full at night but the staff did they best they could to accommodate us when we couldn't find a spot- I'm sure dealing with parking issues is an ongoing saga for them but...

Stayed 6 nights at this Hawaiian-owned hotel in room P-5 (pool level). Great value! Hotel is older & my room could use a refurb or refresh - bed comfy enough but seemed worn. Small, dated bathroom with plastic shower surround that has seen better days. Hot water in shower only really worked with no cold mixed in. Mini fridge didn't...

We stayed here for one night after arriving in Kona. It is located in the center of Kailua-Kona. The hotel is clean but quite old and seems to be not renovated in the last time. We had a room on the reception-floor. The receptionist was very friendly. Many good restaurants are located nearby.

We booked this hotel from October 23rd to November 1st and were pleasantly surprised. This hotel is privately owned and is near everything you could possibly want in Kona (walking distance to many restaurants, shops, and the pier). We had a room that faced the ocean on the 4th floor and it was wonderful. The desk staff greeted us immediately...
