what a great family-owned hotel... very clean and all the amenities, also breakfast was included - but since they have no restaurant, breakfast was eaten at the Splashers Restaurant. It was delicious. The hotel was located right "downtown" too so within walking distance of almost everything. Kona Seaside was well worth the money we spent to stay there.

It wasnt the reason I booked the hotel, but I found these points out after checking in. Parking can be a bit painful if you arrive in the evening, but it's doable. The hotel is centrally located right at the bottom of Palani Dr and Ali'i Dr. You can walk anywhere downtown Kona with ease, and stumble back to your hotel...

The location of the hotel is good. It's at north end of Ali'i tourist zone and close to KTA supermarket and Costco. The hotel and room are a little dated. There is no safe in the room. Stuff at front desk is very nice and helpful. Since the hotel is close to major roads, so it's a little noisy before...

This is a nice, quiet and friendly hotel. Close to the beach and many food options. Only down fall is not much in site parking. However there is plenty of free parking a block up. I would stay again and recommend it to friends.

The exterior is worn. The front desk staff was competent, if not overly friendly. I decided to see the room before I gave in to total despair. Luckily, the room was acceptable and clean which was the most important thing to me. My husband found a quick walking shortcut to the beach, and so the location was better than I...

We stayed one night at the beginning of our vacation and two nights at the end. I'll review the first one night stay first. We arrived late and were fortunate to get the last spot in the parking lot. Front desk clerk was pleasant and check in was efficient. Upon entering the room it was noted furniture is dated even...

The hotel was a great first night on the big island. The location was easy to get to from the Kona airport, the room was clean and comfortable and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. All in all, a place worthy of return business.

The location is good but that's about all that this place has going for it. Carpet is probably 40 years old and not well vacuumed around the edges. Air conditioning units are window units mounted in the walls. Ours was moldy so we couldn't run it on a night that stayed near 80 degrees. Had to have the windows open...

Across from a teeny tiny beach you really can't swim in but perfect for a day or so stop over when there are other things you want to do. Friendly accommodating staff small but clean rooms and very centrally located. Not the "LAVISH" hotel I envisioned because I just assumed EVERYTHING in Hawaii was LAVISH!

I arrived late so the main parking lot was full. The security guard offered to show me additional parking within the same block and a shortcut back to the hotel. The staff was very warm and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and AC was available. I didn't have time to enjoy the pool as I had a morning...
