We rented a 2 bedroom condo right on the water and it was a home away from home. The evenings were spent on the deck watching the outrigger canoes practice and the sun set.

We have our family vacation trip from Big Island to Honolulu. We have traveled 3 islands in this trip. This resort is centrally located to shopping and beaches, most importantly, it is very roommy townhome and cleaniness. However, we have to paid for the A/C $15/day which is not mentioned when we booked from the Expedia website. We would highly...

This property was great. We were unsure as we had only seen the pictures online, but hoped for the best. The location was perfect for all the activities was wanted to do across the Big Island. The room was great. Others had been more recently updated, but we woul dhave never known without talking to one of the construction people...

Our stay at Kanaloa was the best. Our condo met all our needs and the grounds were always lean and well maintained. Everyone greeted us with a smile. Maria, at the front gate, especially made us feel special each time we walked or drove through. The main pool was not available due to new tile being placed but we had...

This is a quiet complex and our condo was right at the water's edge. The grounds were well maintained. There are 3 pools in the complex and BBQ grills available as well. Unfortunately the pool overlooking the ocean is under repair and so was not available to be used. There are also tennis courts on the grounds. The concierge was...

I traveled with my husband and 3 kids 9ages 9, 13, and 15, and we all agreed that the view out from the living room lanai of our ocean-front 2 bedroom was absolutely picture perfect--I think it was the best I have ever been in. Where else do you overlook an ancient Hawaiian temple, a black sand beach, azure water,...

Our 8-day stay at Kanaloa at Kona was outstanding in all aspects. The grounds are extremely well kept and pretty with all those flowers. We enjoyed the pools and the fact we could use the barbecues. Walking along the shore was another pleasure we had at Kanaloa. Everything in the unit we rented (#203) was set to make our stay...

We traveled with two other families, with children ranging from 3 to 18. We rented two-two bedroom condos and were very pleased with the accomodations. The condo I stayed in had two lanai's; one master suite with it's own bathroom and walk in closet; one bedroom with a double bed and a loft with two twin beds with a bathroom--so...

We are just back from our second stay in the last couple of years in unit 3601 at Kanaloa. The unit has an outstanding ocean view from its lanai, and really feels like home each time we visit with its comfortable furnishings and in the way it is equipped with full kitchen amenities, internet access, pool/beach equipment and dozens of...

Our room was well located just south of Kona and north of "Place of refuge" and Kealakekua Bay (our favorite spots). We found the room to be spacious (2 bathrooms, one large bedroom, kitchen, living room, laundry room and personal parking space) and very clean. There was no air conditioning, but with ceiling fans, it wasn't really needed. You could...
