This resort is the epitome of luxury! We’ve stayed in some 5 star resorts before, but now have to question if anything else was truly 5 stars. The property, amenities, rooms, staff, furnishings are all beyond outstanding. Each staff member we encountered was trained perfectly, incredibly friendly and helpful, and truly concerned with making our stay the best possible. The property was remodeled in 2020 and it shows, everything is modern, incredibly finished and stunningly beautiful. The grounds are maintained perfectly and every single detail has been considered. There is no better property to stay in the Big Island, the US, or maybe the globe!

From the moment you arrive, you feel special. Staff very friendly and kind. Pools beautiful, room great, breakfast delicious. Good vacation cocktails. Everything was perfection - well, except for our room service pizza and salad which were pretty bad, but that was the only hiccup in an otherwise flawless stay. It feels like the Hawaii vacation of your childhood dreams!

This was our first time staying at this location and we can definitely see why the Four Seasons separates itself from the rest of the field. The resort itself is nothing short of amazing. There are 4 pools onsite (3 main pools for leisure and 1 Olympic style lap pool for fitness). There are also 4 restaurants on-site, each with its own distinct menu which provides guests with a lot of variety. The fitness facility is exceptional. This resort has separate rooms/buildings dedicated to weights, yoga and cardio. There is also an outdoor half court basketball court, as well as an outdoor fitness space for non-conventional exercises such as boxing, etc. The main highlight of the resort, in my opinion, is the King's Pond. This is an "aquarium" with an abundance of different types of tropical fish (there's even an eagle ray!) in which guests can snorkel in and is what initially sold us to stay at this resort! Our room was the partial ocean view room, but the layout was more like a junior suite. In addition to a walk-in closet, semi-private outdoor lounge and spacious rest area, the bathroom also included a deep soaking tub, separate rain fall shower, as well as an outdoor shower. For us, two things separated this place from the rest: attention to detail and effort. From the time we arrived until our departure, the entire experience felt personal, intimate and seamless! Every staff member we encountered knew us by name and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and felt cared for. We love this resort and are never disappointed when we stay there. Everything from the hotel, restaurant, grounds, pools, golf course and beach area are fantastic. The employees are all wonderful and friendly. We have been coming here almost annually for about 15 years and plan to continue to do so.

It is a beautiful property with comfortable room set ups in lower floor. We had lovely outside shower, extra bed set up in sofa was pleasant. There is a lot to do on the property if you are looking for a "lazy stay". Snorkeling, stand-up paddle board, live music, yoga - all in one place without needing to move out of hotel! We just loved our stay.

The resort in Kona is beautiful & the service is beyond but a special call out to the level of service from Summers Concierge , Cora ,Tiffany & Maggie from the Resturant was beyond welcoming it made the start of the day HAPPY .. The Four Season in Kona shines in concistency Thank you Thank you

Absolutely incredible experience at Hualalai. The food was spectacular, the room was fantastic and the property was stunning. Thrilled with every interaction we had at this hotel. The amenities and fitness center are unparalleled. They have areas that are adults only and those catered to families. We 100% will be back- next time with the kids! We spent 5 nights at this beautiful resort. We had no issues or regrets. It was perfection. The only possible negative is that the property is large and for someone with mobility issues, there is a lot of walking to get to and from various areas. However, you can call for a golf cart to take you from place to place. So, they have even thought of that. We love the Four Seasons.

Yes, my wife and I first visited Hualalai for our honeymoon in 2003, we returned to celebrate our anniversary for 7 or 8 years, then had a long break. We returned to magnificent Hualalai to celebrate our 20th anniversary this year, and it was AMAZING! It's hard to imagine improving on near perfection, but a multi-million-dollar renovation of the rooms, pools and other facilities together with the consistently top-notch service and attention to detail will transform your experience to "other worldly." So much to enjoy from the island inspired spa services, world class golf facilities, tennis & pickleball, exercise, 8 pools, swimmable aquarium with 1,000s of fish plus Kai Nalu the eagle ray, ocean adventures & activities (underwater scooter snorkel is my favorite), 5+ mile scenic run/walk path, OneWheel turf surf, and so much more. These are just a sample of the activities I've personally tried! The meals are incredible, our favorite is the breakfast buffet just a few feet across the sandy beach and ocean views. The rooms are spectacular, with my favorite features being the private outdoor shower, 1-button to control all lights in the room, fabulous views (ocean, pool or golf course), and that bed (Four Seasons Signature Plush) where "sweet dreams are made on these..."
