Our first impression of this place was annoying, because as we walked in to check in, Julia was on the phone and did not even look up from the desk. After fifteen minutes of booking a room for someone else, and never once even acknowledging that we were there, she finally hung up and said hello. If first impressions are...

I decided to attend the Joshua Tree Music Festival on Oct. 7 & stay at the 29 Palms for the night of Oct. 6. After looking at the various adobe cottages & wooden cabins at the resort on the website, I chose to stay in one called Forget-Me-Not that is a stand alone cottage. It was a very good decision...

Lovely, historic property. Rooms are spartan, but clean and comfortable. Nice touches, such as providing an ice chest for keeping lunch and snacks cool in the hot desert. The included breakfasts were ample, but with little variety. The picnic lunches available at the restaurant were excellent and reasonably priced. Ditto for dinners at the restaurant. The only downside was that...

I wasn't sure what to expect from the photos and reviews of this hotel but I was very pleased I had booked it after a most enjoyable stay. Lovely bungalows with private courtyards were clean and comfortable and I loved the original features mixed with modern touches and local art. And the pool was most welcome on a very hot...

I can appreciate the Inn is a historic property and the desire to maintain it's character but the room I was in did not live up to those expectations. Room X is in need of repair and paint. The dry wall had water damage which was painted over, walls in general were in need of repair and paint, a window...

Dear SCS3111, Thank you for recent stay with us. It is nice to hear the kind feedback for our restaurant staff; however, we do wish your overnight stay had lived up to your expectations. We are sincerely apologetic for the loud ceiling fan and stuck window; both items have now been repaired and I am sorry you had to bring...

My wife and I as we were traveling on Rt 62 stopped at a California information stop and there we were told that 29 Palms Inn was a nice place to have dinner, when we checked in to our hotel we were told that 29 Palms Inn was a nice place to have dinner so we did and we can...

We rolled in to the 29 Palms Inn, dusty and stinky after 200 miles on touring bicycles - in desperate need of a shower and comfy bed. I've stayed at the inn before and wanted so badly to stay again. We didn't have a reservation but tried our luck. There wasn't a whole lot left but Julia made some magic...

We just spent two nights in the 29 Palms Inn. Staying there in one of the adobe houses is truly unique. The inn is at the entrance of the Joshua Tree State Park, therefore very conveniently located. The rooms, small houses, are very colorful from the outside but very basic from the inside, true to their original state which is...

We stayed here for 3 nights while we were visiting Joshua Tree NP. The room we had was located in a small adobe bungalow with a private stone patio. There is no WiFi in the rooms but you can sit by the pool or in the office to use their WiFi. It was very relaxing to come back from hiking...

The room is like a small bungalow all to yourself including a nice private rock patio equipped with lawn chairs. The website said WIFI available, what they failed to tell you is that it is not available in the rooms. There is not a fridge in the room either which makes things difficult when traveling with small children who need...
