Welcome to the Nine Palms Inn (formerly the Lincoln Manor)! In the 1940’s, the Lincoln Manor was a landmark destination in the Twenty Nine Palms areas. This is one of the few motels that can be considered a historic pioneer in hospitality service in Twenty Nine Palms. Today, it still maintains the same structure and floor plan that it used in the 1940’s. As of November 2012, a new management team

We were pleasantly surprised. Room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. Good location for visiting Joshua tree. Owner was super friendly. We loved the little kitchen. Heat in room worked great. Bed comfy. All you need without the hefty price!

The driveway is in major need of repaving. Our room was in the triplex at the top of the hill. It was not anywhere near what the rooms pictured on Trip Advisor look like. The room was small and the two queen beds took up most of the space. There was a full size refrigerator and a microwave sitting on top of it. Both were plugged into the same extension cord dangling from the wall. The smoke detector was missing from its base on the wall. The only heat source was from a portable radiator plugged into the wall. The room started to feel comfortable by the time we got up in the morning. There was no place to sit except on the bed. I passed on talking a shower in the bathroom. The television looked new, but we didn’t us it. If I were to stay here again, I’d get one of their cabins and ask to view it before agreeing to stay.…

Clean room, air conditioning worked very well. Having a little kitchen with a full size refrigerator and freezer was a huge plus. Comfortable bed- great location in 29 Palms. Enjoyed sitting outside our room and overlooking the town. Great for a little get away stay.

Found this place online and stayed there after our stop in Joshua Tree National Park. The description stated it was quirky so I went in expecting it. We have stayed at other hotels that were quirky/themed but this was one of the quirkiest in a good way. The check in was fast and the office was the size of a closet. The person was nice and explained where to park. Our room was cleam, had 3 queen beds, a little room with refrigerator, microwave, coffer maker and table. The bathroom had tub and shower, toilet in an tight area but functional. If you are looking for a neat hotel and do not expect a 4 star hotel I would highly recommend staying here. They are pet friendly as well.

I dont even know where to even begin. It was the worst motel in the world hands down.. Not only did i get over charged for such a sleezy roach motel thats smelt like old man piss and the shower cutian looked like it had been soaked in it... So bad i had to take it off and set outside just to get the smell to fade. But it stayed musty as hell... But on top of that every twenty mins the staff was knocking on the door harrassing us... I was in the middle. Of packing up our stuff to leave only being 15 mins late on check out thr creepy manager threatened to call the cops mind you it had only been twenty mins past out time... If my private time hadnt be so fantastic. Id chalk it up as a straight loss.. Never will i stay at this dirt nag motel

Very basic facilities but clean. One member of our party is a wheelchair user and we called ahead to confirm that our room would be accessible. On arrival we found that the floor sloped towards the entrance and that the bathroom doorway was too narrow for the wheelchair which fits through any standard doorway. Thankfully we only stayed one night.

This is a good hotel if you aren't planning on doing a lot at the hotel. It is inexpensive and pet friendly. One of the beds in our room squeaked when ever you moved on it which was distracting and woke me a few times. Very homely with non-uniform mugs and paint jobs. Fridge didn't seem to keep anything cold and the freezer certainly didn't work as it didn't freeze a bottle of water even though it was in there for two days. As we were just using it as a place to sleep and shower it worked out well. The location was very helpful to the exploring we were doing.

Very good value the the price. The room was large and clean with a very comfortable bed. There's a little separate space with a table/chairs, coffee pot/fridge. I liked having a little "stand-alone" cottage, as that meant not sharing any walls. The interior/exterior were painted in fun, bright colors. The check-in staff was very friendly and helpful. It could use a bit of TLC - the parking area is pretty chewed up, the bathroom had bare bulbs above the sink. On my second night, the power went out Within a couple of minutes, a staff person showed up with a little battery lantern and said there was a problem with a transformer down the road. The power was off until the next morning, but it turned out not to be too bid a deal for me. I was out all day exploring Joshua Tree, so all I needed was a clean, quiet and comfortable place to sleep. 9 Palms provided that for a very good price.…

Each of the rooms is a separate cottage, so we found it to be very quiet. We liked the bench and small table on the porch. The little kitchen area was very convenient, with a refrigerator, coffeemaker, and microwave. I appreciated having real mugs in addition to the standard plastic cups. The price was reasonable. The bed was comfortable. The WiFi is very slow and cut in and out. Odd that only one side of the bed had a lamp. Overall, I wish I could say I loved this place, but it was just ok and not a place I'd return to.

I actually loved this place. It was weird looking when we arrived but then I realised it was an unusual historic property with its quirky desert theme. The room size was generous, the bed was clean and comfy, the checking was friendly and professional. The bathroom was fine, the towels were perfectly fine, the shower was clean and worked and was good temperature. The coffee/creamer/etc was supplied in generous amount. I cannot blame the place for this price. What I loved most was the phenomenal location just outside of Joshua Tree NP. It was simply great. It’s not a luxurious 5* hotel but for what it is it does extremely well and I loved it!
