We loved our stay at Der Waldhof hotel in St. Anton. The hotel is almost brand new, built by the owners. They documented the construction of the hotel with a 4 volume journal on display near the fireplace in the lobby. Our room was modern, large, and well designed. Lots of room for ski gear storage after a long day...

My husband and I had a wonderful week skiing and enjoying the exceptional hospitality at Der Waldhof in St. Anton. Andrea and Michael are terrific hosts. Our room was spacious, efficient and comfortable with a large balcony. Skiing was a short and frequent shuttle away (and we decided to enjoy the 10 minute walk on a couple of occasions); the...

My husband and I stayed for a week last year. It is one of the best skiing holidays we've had, largely down to the hotel and the wonderful service from Andrea and Michael. They are excellent hosts who know their food and wine! The half board basis includes a substantial breakfast. Dinner was cooked by Michael and his team and...

My second visit since 2015 and it was equally excellent. The location is a quiet hamlet next to a pine wood up the hill and away from the hubbub of town. No schleping ski equipment if you hire in town as the hotel provides a voucher for free storage at Alber Sport next to the Galzigbahn and a complementary taxi...

I had another excellent stay in the Waldhof (This may have been my third visit). Sure, the snow conditions were great - and that always helps the feel-good factor. That aside this is an excellent place to stay. Easy to get to the slopes, no noisy street party at night, absolutely first-class food (A huge and tasty breakfast set me...

We had an excellent stay. Very friendly staff who were helpful and made us very welcome. The food was excellent, both breakfast and the 4 course dinner option. Room was very large and the hotel has been recently built to a very good quality. 15 min walk to Galzig but shuttle taxi to the lifts whenever we wanted it. Would...

My wife, daughter, and I stayed for three nights, and had a very nice stay at the Waldhof. Andrea and Michael were wonderful hosts, and the experience was very positive. The food/cooking was especialy good. We have stayed in many hotels over the years in Alberg, and Der Waldhof is now one of our favorites!

Beautiful and cozy retreat in the mountains. The Der Waldhof is conveniently located to the main village of St. Anton. The hotel has a truly unique and incredibly warm and inviting feel. we stayed both times in the top floor suite, this time with our 2 kids who LOVED having their own hidden away, private space in the back of...

Michael and Andrea Ladner's family run hotel has a great atmosphere. Pristinely clean, fabulous staff, warm and welcoming. The facilities include a lovely spa area. The rooms are spacious and bathrooms provide luxury hair and body products. The food is exceptional and lovingly prepared by Michael who is also a great chef.
