Stayed here with a mate in Feb 16. The Chalet is at the basic end of the chalet scale but its clean tidy and warm. Although there are no dedicated boot drying facilities, where the boots are left (stairs) they dry overnight, mine were never wet in the morning. Not a ski in ski out chalet but if you're confident...

We booked this as it was 'ski in ski out'. It's not, if you think skiing out involves going down two flights of icy , snowy , steps to lower terrace then throwing yourself into the back field(obviously only possible if lots of snow ). You then pole to gondola. Ski in is impossible. Getting that if my chest generally...

Jan 2015 travelled with Inghams to Chalet Rose. 10 min walk to and from lifts/slopes but not too bad. Spacious rooms, nice and clean. Ben and Ryan are excellent hosts, charming, helpful and know their job. Breakfast excellent and the evening food good too. Wine flows well, 4 choices (2 red/2 white). St Anton skiing as good as its awesome...

The food was great and completely surpassed what I was expecting. The chalet is basic but for the price, has everything you need for a mixed group of friends could every need. Its definitely not ski in but an intermediate skier can ski out (in saying that complete beginner in our group was doing it by the 3rd day). The...

Chalet Rose is getting very dated, and is long overdue a redecoration. Unfortunately it's not dated in a charming way either. However, the rooms are a very good size, and the place is fairly well put together. Has solid walls so not too much noise passing around. Not sure that skiing in is really an option, but in the event,...

Best to go if there is a large group, we took the whole of the chalet. Skiing at st anton were quite choppy worth a trip to other slopes. Tom dooleys pub was worth the trip. Spent early evenings in there.

Margaret (Kathy) and Martin (Angus) our chalet hosts were excellent. Attentive, great cooks and always friendly and willing to help. The chalet itself was the perfect environment for alcohol fuelled debauchery. The rooms were big and clean. There were enough showers and loos to enable all 12 of us to make use at a squeeze, which should be a prerequisite...

We spent Feb half term at the chalet rose & I have come away with mixed reports. The chalet itself is warm and very clean, but also rather old fashioned and tired - not in a quaint way, but in a 70's style. If you are looking for simple, clean accommodation with stunning views and great skiing then you will have...

Chalet Rose is a lovely spot. The accommodation is fine; warm, welcoming and more than adequate. The rooms are not too cramped and there is a good lounge for socialising with other folk staying at the chalet. The hosts for this season, Katy & Will, are brilliant. They are just so helpful & Katy is a wonderful chef. You can...
