Tripadvisor’s approach to reviews
Before posting, each Tripadvisor review goes through an automated tracking system, which collects information, answering the following questions: how, what, where and when. If the system detects something that potentially contradicts our community guidelines, the review is not published.
When the system detects a problem, a review may be automatically rejected, sent to the reviewer for validation, or manually reviewed by our team of content specialists, who work 24/7 to maintain the quality of the reviews on our site.
Our team checks each review posted on the site disputed by our community as not meeting our community guidelines.

Fabulous hotel, really stylish, excellent food, service and drinks. Really nice spacious room, comfy beds, great view. We all loved the indoor and outdoor pool and the relaxation room with views of the mountains. Owners very visible, lovely staff…would highly recommend!

A lovely hotel with great facilities, fabulous spa and views of the mountains. Lovely food and friendly helpful staff. Our second time here and we will be back next year. You can ski in and out if there’s enough snow, if not hop on the shuttle. I bet it’s lovely in the summer!

Just back from a short stay at this hotel and can truly say it is one of the best hotels we have ever stayed at. The hotel itself is beautiful with an amazing infinity pool and spa area. The food was also fantastic. What makes this hotel really stand out however is the family feel and the service you receive throughout. Our waiter during our stay (Odysseus) gave us the best service we have had on a holiday, remembering which wine we ordered each night, remembering our coffee orders at breakfast and brining these without us asking, and just generally making us feel at home. We were also really impressed with how involved the owners are - they would regularly pop over to chat to us and make sure everything was perfect with our stay. We will definitely be back!

From the outside we never expected what the hotel had to offer. Amazing pools, not have a anywhere found pools like that in a hotel and especially not one with a view of the mountain like that 🏔. Rooms were decent size, lots of storage space and a nice bathroom. Breakfast was excellent and so was dinner. A hotel to remember and to come back to! ♥️♥️♥️

This was our first visit to one of our favourite hotels in Austria since covid and it didn’t disappoint. This is a superb hotel in every respect. Rooms are spotlessly clean and furnished to a very high specification. Both breakfast and dinner are excellent. There is variety and great care taken with presentation. Staff, without exception are professional yet friendly and help in any way they can. There is plenty to do in the area and in very hot weather there is nothing more pleasant than to spend time in the beautifully maintained gardens or watch the sun set at the end of the valley from the hotel terrace.

We have stayed many times at this family-owned hotel over the last 20 years. it is our go-to place for a break. Very pleasant rooms, excellent service and fantastic food. There are many walks around the valley to suit everyone from short/easy to long/challenging. And also an excellent guest pass to get free bus rides or other discounts locally. It is a home-from-home for us.

Room Tip: The hotel is a short walk up a fairly steep road from the village centre

I really liked this hotel; it was comfartable and had everything really, but still without that "overly luxorious" flair in many hotels of the same class, that often feels just artificial and ridiculous in our day and age. This felt genuine. The hotel is situated close to the mountain chain Wilder Kaiser, and the view is wonderful! From my room windows I also had the view of a small mountain alpine farm, and I could watch the sheep climbing and grazing on the very steep mountain hill. That was an interesting spectacle! It is also very calm and quite on that high location, a bit up and apart from the noise of the village center. A small word of warning, though: the high altitude of the hotel also means that there is a VERY steep hill to climb from the village center (and the nearest bus stop), so if you are bit older, or from other reasons have trouble with your feet, knees, hips etc. (or your heart), and travel without a car - maybe this hotel is not for you. The breakfast buffet had "everything"! The gardens were also very nice, and I loved the swimming pool. A small word of warning is necessary here as well, though: if you are a swimmer and swim fast with goggles (which diminish your eyesight): there is a partition on the left further side of the pool, and this ends right beneath the surface, which means that it cannot be seen above the surface, and it is also not marked in anyway. It is white, as the rest of the pool. I swam right into it with my stretched-out fingers, hurting them just a bit and breaking a couple of nails. But it could have been much worse: I might have swum into it with my head first, become unconscious and drowned. Also note that there is no life guard or "pool boy" by the pool - it is possible that no one would notice until it was too late! (There might be some constant camera supervision of the pool instead, but I saw no signs of that.) This partition absolutely should be marked (ideally with a wide black line or cross), so that you see it with when you come swimming against it under water, with goggles. If you keep to the right side of the pool there is no partition, but also there the end of the pool, the socket and the steps are not marked, everything is the same white colour, and there is no black line/track marking at the bottom of the pool either, to follow when swimming. Something ought to be done about this, because otherwise the pool is adequate also for "real" swimmers - it is 30 m. long! When you are through swimming, there are various sun chairs and sun beds (but no towels, you have to remember to bring that with you from the room), and there is also a pool bar and a waiter/waitress walking around (now and then) and taking up orders for drinks - very nice!

Cannot say enough about how much we loved staying here. We had one of the 'houses' with bedrooms and living room. So clean, so terrific, we loved everything about it. The pool was lovely, the gardens just perfect.

Great place and staff. Lovely lovely pool area and perfect ski in/out hotel for a day of hitting the slopes Food was very good too and the bar area was welcoming for pre dinner drinks. You can tell the refurbishment was done with great care and attention.

We wondered if this place was with the expense. It certainly was! Great in all respects, but the Wellness area (panorama sauna and outdoor infinity pool facing the mountain) is just outstanding and the friendliness and helpfulness of staff was super. Highly recommended.
