Just spent 4 nights at this hotel. Very comfortable apartment with great views of lake and mountains. Very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning. Would stay here again. We received from them the Zell am See / Kaprun summer card for free. This was great as most of our activities in the area were then free...

We stayed at Pfefferbauer for 6 nights in apartment 1 in the main house. Please note there are two houses- the main house has a restaurant and is higher up the hill with a fantastic view over the lake. The second house also looks to a high standard but is not as high up the hill. We have previously stayed...

Loving the all-wood cabin-looking room and the balcony overlooking the lake! The view is worth every penny - you can see the whole Zell am See effortlessly. The only downside is that you can't really walk to the hotel unless you're a fit hiker, since it's up in the hill. But taxi will do at around EUR 10-15 which is...

The food is very delicious. It is typical Austrian food but they use high quality products for their meals. At the end it taste really marvellous. I had a "Bauernsalat" and also a "Kaiserschmarrn" which is the best you can get in Zell am See!

Stayed here for the world 70.3 triathlon championships. A truly lovely location, set on the side of the mountain. Traditional alpine style accommodation, beautiful views from the balconies and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We are twice in the restaurant and each time the food was very good and reasonably priced. We would definitely return for a more...

Very nice family run hotel. Blissful little kids and their kittens scattered around :) Stunning lake view. Flowers everywhere. Friendly staff. Very relaxed atmosphere. You'd need a drive to the centre and to the lake though.

This was one of our journey's best accommodations as it is very well positioned, up on the hill with beautiful panoramas. The house is newly renovated but the decorations are rustic and authentic. The rooms (not apartment rooms, but the main building ones) are superb, with perfect furnishings, free toiletries, floor heating, glass walls shower, beautiful terrace overviewing the lake....

The location up a hill was great for me as I do not mind the 30 min hike to town. But it did add the cost for taxi's for my older and less exercise minded relatives (22-10 ero depending on drivers mood).view amazing, room super clean. Xmas lunch was spoilt when despite 48 hours notice they had made no effort...

Excellent apartments and rooms (clean, comfortable, cozy) with an excellent location (up on a hill with a view onto the lake), but unfortunately the owners were far from friendly and that spoilt it for us somewhat. We travel around the Austrian countryside quite a lot and the people we have met at the hotels, farmhouses, holiday homes, etc are usually...
