Mayrhofen in Austria is a wonderful place, but next time I go it will not be to the Ferienhof. There's nothing wrong with the place: good sized clean rooms, friendly and (mostly) helpful English lads and lasses taking good care of you. The problem is: it's like an English school holiday, complete with school dinners. I know this is comfort...

The Neilson Hotel Ferienhof is set in a great location close to the Penken lift. On arrival the welcome from the staff was warm and friendly it felt like a home from home. Our room was great cleaned daily with tea and coffee. The cosy bar was a great place to chat after a day on the slopes with the...

Just spent a week here from 14th to 21st Jan. 2017. Super hotel. Cosy, well-kept and friendly welcoming staff. Clean, warm rooms and nice sauna/spa area. Excellent food (half board). Good location with a 10 min walk into town. Resort in general was perfect (we had great snow conditions) and would go back for next ski vacation.

Stayed at the ferienhof last week, as a group of 17 of us. The hotel is a charming looking place but a bit of a walk to the penkenbahn lift. I would advise hiring a locker at the bottom of the lift rather then trekking back to the hotel each day with skis. The Neilson rep on the transfer from...

Mayrehof is absolutely beautiful, so clean and welcoming. The locals are so nice. Our hotel is very traditional. Very clean and welcoming. Our room is huge and bathroom enormous and spotless. The young staff work so hard to help and be as accommodating as possible, always have a smile. We need to thank the chefs Matt and Matt for delicious...

I spent New Year here with my family and couldn't have had a better time. Marta and her team were brilliant and quickly responded to any request. Given we were travelling with a 14 month old and a 5 year old, there were quite a few requests!! Dinners tended to be really nice, and breakfasts were varied and nice. Rooms...

Stayed at the Ferienhof is March just me and the other half and had a fantastic time. The hotel is about a 10 minute, easy walk to the Penken gondola so no problem with skis but there is a locker room at the bottom of the lift if you prefer. Our room was a good size with a lovely balcony...
