Great campground. Close to tourist sites, great facilities. Pool and water slide were great. Nice and quiet at night, wonderful night sky. We heard coyotes at night, which was cool. Staff was great too.
We had no knowledge of campgrounds in the Custer area so when wanting to visit on vacation, relied on Trip Advisor reviews. We were very pleased that Beaver Lake campground is as nice as reviewers said it was.

Campground and staff are awesome. Lots to do close by several historic sights. Bathroom facilities are great nice and clean. About the inly downside is the office/store closes at 8, but town of Custer is a short drive if you really need something.

Some had gotten tame enough children were trying to catch them and hold them. They discoursge this. Diseased?Nonsense! Maybe city folk just aren't use to wild animals running free.
