Beautiful hotel that is modern but has a lot of exposed brick which added character to the hotel. The room was a nice size and the beds were very comfortable. The bistro also served delicious food with fancy desserts. I am currently booked there again for January 2018 due to another cruise.

Spent 2 nights here while in New Orleans for Tulane Commencement. The hotel is fine, clean, safe, comfortable. What you would expect from a Marriott Courtyard. Don't expect any special surprises and you won't be disappointed. Room for improvement: The entry. There is a tiny sign at the parking entrance. We drove by twice before seeing it. Turning in is...

Thank you for providing feedback in regards to your most recent stay. I apologize for the less than welcoming check-in experience you encountered but am happy to hear about the wonderful experience you had with our Valet staff. I have shared your feedback and comments with the appropriate departments. Thank you for taking the time to review our property. We...

Met by a personable, cordial desk clerk. Our check-in went very smoothly. Our room was immaculate. The only problem we had was regarding our breakfast package. We had paid extra to include the breakfast. The breakfast is not a typical continental breakfast. You can only order off a menu...no waffles, cereal, biscuits, etc. Too fancy for our tastes. Love the...

stayed here while attending a trade show. As a Marriott Gold I was upgraded to a suite, but had to ask...they didn't offer. The suite was an interior courtyard room meaning the Windows looked over the breakfast area...so you can't open your shades unless want everyone who is eating breakfast to be watching you from below. ALL night I heard...

I recently stayed at the courtyard by Marriott by the convention center and was graciously greeted by Jameson that evening at the Bistro bar. He was very pleasant and attentive. Made for a great evening. Thanks Jameson. Chance

Nice hotel in a restored building near the main arteries but far enough (2 blocks) not to be bothered. The rooms are larger than usual and very clean. The people at the front desk are exceptionally friendly.

The Hotel location was good. Area quite. a ten min walk to the French district, Canal street. Close to the riverside mall for shopping. The breakfast was very limited, not many choices to choose from.

For $78 and priceline choosing our hotel, we got a suite. Seriously, we did not need that much space, but they just wanted to fill rooms last minute. Staff is incredible. Facilities are amazing and include indoor pool, spa, gym, barista style breakfast area, office and lounge areas. It's great for a weekend getaway or a business meeting.

Lovely hotel in a restored building which makes the layout different from the normal. Bedroom was huge and very comfortably furnished. The hotel is within a very short walking distance of the cruise terminal which certainly suited us. Also close to a shopping mall if that is your thing and even if it is not you could still use the...

Staying in Arts District / Warehouse District

Neighbourhood Profile
Arts District / Warehouse District
Once a thriving industrial zone, today this district is home to a buzzing arts scene with an amazing assortment of galleries, boutiques, and studios having moved in and set up shop throughout the disused warehouses for which the area is so well known. Much of the art you'll come across here is local in scope, ownership and inspiration. However, among the many old brick warehouses are modern structures of steel and glass housing large-scale cultural institutions of national prominence such as the National World War II Museum, the Contemporary Arts Center, and the Ogden Museum of Southern Art. Just as eye catching as what’s on view inside the galleries and museums is the chance to see your ship come in at the Julia Street Cruise Terminal, which serves as a wistful reminder of the city’s historic maritime prominence.
