I went for a weekend to New Orleans, taking friends with me. Once again, I loved the hotel, the service, the location and everything about this hotel. The rooms are very nice, breakfast in the courtyard was very nice, very peaceful and a great way to start the day. Anyone going to New Orleans, I encourage you to stay here.

We spent there 3 nights on a shirt vacation and could have not hoped for better. Everything was great. Perfect location, spacious and perfectly cleaned room, abundant and vary breakfast included, corteous staff, welcome complimentary drink at the 21st Amendment.

Our stay exceeded expectations. Location is great, just a 1/2 block from Bourbon St and only 2 blocks from Canal to pick up Trolleys to Garden District, World War II Museum, etc. Despite the location, the room was very quiet. We were up on the 5th floor, with a courtyard room, which was back from the street. As a result,... More

Stayed at the hotel on the first weekend of the New Orleans Jazz Festival with my parents. The room was spacious and the breakfast was good. The first room we were placed had a strong smell of mold so we asked to be relocated and they relocated us for a small size room and it had no smell. Staff is... More

Great Location! Hotel Mazarin is a sea of tranquility in the craziness of Bourbon street, which is right around the corner. Beautiful, old world charm with all the modern amenities. Situated in the heart of the French Quarter, it's a short walk to many of the great local attractions. Would definitely come back!

Very friendly staff. The room and the hotel itself were clean. Great breakfast buffet. Quiet in our room--I thought it would be noisier, considering we ere right off of Bourbon Street. We would absolutely return to Hotel Mazarin!

The location of this hotel is perfect right in the french quarter. The staff was wonderful and friendly. A few things. Cost to park in the hotel is $36 a night so if you are driving you need to be aware of that. The petite king is the size of a master bedroom with bath and you get a chair... More

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
