I stayed at the Windsor Court for 2 nights for a business meeting. The hotel room was very comfortable large. Public areas are very nice. The hotel is not in the French Quarter, sort of in the middle of nowhere, but it is still very nice, and quiet.

It's always a treat to visit the lovely Windsor Court. From the minute you enter the exquisite garden entrance, you know this is someplace special! We had a beautiful suite on the 16th floor with 2 large balconies overlooking the city. My friends were on 15 and their suite overlooked the river which was really nice. The location is perfect,...

We were in a suite on the club level and not only is the hotel regal and incredibly elegant it has the most grand service. We took full advantage of the club lounge for breakfast and meetings and the concierge Valerie gave us all sort of excellent recommendations as well as arranged for excellent service everywhere. The upstairs jazz bar...

I recently stayed at the Windsor Court for one night in one of the suites. It was large and very elegant and comfortable. The staff was courteous and knowledgeable. The meeting rooms were nice. My only complaint was the hotel food which I thought was average. I would be happy to stay here again but would try to eat at...

Top notch hotel. Close to everything. Outstanding service, elegant surroundings. Beautiful room. Clean, quiet , spacious. Great electronic accessories and bath area To be honest, I usually stay somewhere cheaper, but the Windsor Court really was worth the extra cost.

The Spa at this hotel is the best. I've been to many spa's around the country and not one comes close to the exceptional classy place of this Spa. Easy to make appointments with any specialist, they're all outstanding. The amenities are first rate. The personnel that are employed at the Spa are top notch professionals and your privacy is...

We were last in New Orleans the fall of 2008 (we stayed at the Omni in the French Quarter) so decided it was time for a repeat trip. This time, we chose to stay just outside of the French Quarter, thinking it would be a bit less bustling and therefore quieter. We were really pleased with our choice of the...

don't be fooled by the exterior appearance, once in side the court yard you are transformed to another era. Rooms were well appointed and quite large, staff accommodating, close proximity to the french quarter and bourbon street. However people we traveled with received a call in their room claiming to be from the front desk as they knew their names...

Has been rated as one of the finest hotels in the world by travel magazines. It is the best hotel in NOLA and also home to the best luxury spa in the city. Polo Club Lounge on the property serves great cocktails and provides live jazz performances. Walking distance to French Quarter and Arts District.

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
