This is a great hotel. The rooms are small. Some scenic some not. It's in the French Quarter and close to the French market, obviously. We stay here every time we come to New Orleans. Pool is small but suited our five year old fine.

What a wonderful place to spend our couple of days in the French Quarter. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was very nice and clean but small, it was perfect for the two of us. The location couldn't have been better, just a few blocks from Cafe Du Monde and Bourban street.

I picked this hotel based on its great rate and reviews, but wasn't expecting a whole lot. Boy was I mistaken. I requested a room with a balcony and with the brick walls and timber frame ceiling. The room (252) had old world charm, it was huge, and had an enormous balcony overlooking Decatur st. In the picture it is...

I loved this place. What a find. Lovely staff, everyone is super friendly and easy. The rooms were small but nicely done. Nice furnishings and finishings. I asked for a quiet room and was given one on the street side BUT they have double glazing and I there was background noise occasionally like the paddle steamer whistle but no street...

make sure that you are aware of the kind of room you will be staying in. Our room had no windows but it was perfect for us. We need to have darkness for sleeping so was perfect. large room and newly renovated bathroom. Elevator was large and with an interior room no noise from the street. Everything in the quarter...

We enjoyed our stay at the Inn. The building is old and historic as we expected. Next time we will ask for a different room location as we were stuck next to an elevator and stairway door which meant a lot of extra noise. Our room was also cave-like with one small window--other rooms looked like they would have been...

After looking at previous reviews we booked this hotel and took the cheaper option of a windowless room, the room was huge and the lack of window no deterrent, the bed was also enormous and so comfortable, the pool tiny but good enough for a dip to cool off after a hot day out. Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
