Great location just a crosswalk away from the Quarter, a short bus ride from the Garden District and a light walk from the warehouse district. Rooms are clean and modern, many with great views of the surrounding city. All of the amenities of a large hotel here as well, including a Starbucks in the lobby.

We love to stay at the Sheraton New Orleans. We frequent the city quite often for weekend get-a-ways and have stayed at other hotels, but we love The Sheraton. The rooms are clean and luxurious. The rooms on the club floors are well worth the extra expense. The views of the city are beautiful. The rooms are well insulated, you...

It's a great location. Don't get me wrong. However, the Sheraton just seems to be overwhelmed from the check in to the exit. Check in took surprisingly a long time even though we arrived at a non peak time. The elevator system was a bit quirky as you pick your floor first, then it picks an elevator for you. Sometimes...

Let me begin with some positives. The lobby space was beautiful. The large screen television in the lobby bar area was perfect for watching all the college and NFL football games, Front desk was amazing. Housekeeping was great. I asked for more towels and hair conditioner and received them on a timely basis. When I came into the room, I...

Just returned from a trip to Nola and we stayed at the Sheraton New Orleans. Couldn't have asked for a better location on Canal Street. Everything was within walking distance and the street cars were nearby. Great view from our room out to the river and the bridge. Our room was very clean, however, it took housekeeping forever to get...

We relocated to Sheraton after a dismal evening at another local New Orleans hotel on a recent family trip. After experiencing a "historical" hotel that seemingly kept the original furniture and possibly the original dust, we wanted a name we could trust and quite frankly we trust Sheraton. Ultimately, a fantastic stay with clean, comfortable beds; a fantastic view of...

Went there for a conference and the hotel was very clean, staff very very friendly. They were willing to go the extra mile for you and not expect anything. The concierge desk were very helpful as far a local attractions, restaurants, anything. They told me what to avoid and places to see. The Harrah's Casino is walking distance, Bourbon Street...

The hotel is just outside the French Quarter and is therefore within easy walking distances to amazing restaurants. You could also pick up the two different trollies within a block. Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
