First visit to Maison Dupuy and we were very pleased with the stay. Staff was very pleasant and the location was unreal! Rooms were adequate for the price and we would definitely stay again. Only issue was the parking is a little over priced, but that is the price of staying in The Quarter. All in all great stay.

Could use a little refresh but the affordable hotel is well located in the French Quarter, close to the action but thankfully not in it. For those going to Jazziest the local bus is one block away- avoid the JazzFest express, it's a rip-off.

Looking for the perfect place to stay in New Orleans? Having never been here before I had no idea what to expect. The Maison Dupuy was wonderful. Great location within easy walking distance to everything in the French Quarter, yet it is tucked away on a nice quiet side street away from the all night revelry this town can get....

My wife and I really enjoyed this hotel. The hotel has a lot of character and the staff is great. The hotel is located in the quiet area of the French quarter, but really close to all of the action. I cant wait to visit New Orleans and stay at the Maison Dupuy!!!!

This hotel is in the heart of the French Quarter next to all of the action but on a quiet side street so you can sleep at night. The staff is incredibly helpful and courteous. This will be the only hotel I will return to because many of the higher price hotels are next to the noisy Bourbon street and...

Good hotel. Location is convenient for access to Canal Street and Bourbon Street. Rooms are modest size, but clean. Housekeeping was mediocre - garbage on TV stand was not collected, bathroom was not cleaned very well. Overall, a good hotel, good value for price.

From the moment we arrived for our vacation, the staff at Maison Dupuy was extremely courteous and accommodating. The pool and courtyard are beautiful - we definitely enjoyed those amenities!! The location is also PERFECT, walking distance to everything in the French quarter but on a more quiet street only few blocks from Bourbon. The rooms are clean, the beds...

This hotel was quaint and worked for my boyfriend and I - we wanted a place to sleep with a pool, and that's what we used it for when the pool was open. The small king room was so musty - that is my biggest complaint. Also, the provided bath products are horrible!

I have stayed there many times over the past 10 yrs. and it has become rundown and way over-priced for what you now get. The only redeeming feature is the location. Unfortunately, I will have to find another place to stay during my New Orleans visits.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
