The courtyard was beautiful. Loved the balcony. The rooms were outdated and not warm feeling at all. Great for people on a budget. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The hotel was in a walking distance to wherever you wanted to go.

The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. The hotel was very clean and the valet service was excellent. I would highly recommend the facility to all my friends and family. We felt very secure there.

As a local, and a former tourist to New Orleans, there are other, better places for around the same price. Examples: Place D'Armes & Bourbon Orleans. Also note, you can't smoke anywhere on hotel property here. Not in the Courtyard or on balconies. The bed was uncomfortable and the carpets stained. The worst though, was the check-in experience. They didn't...

Excellent hotel. Concierge went above and beyond with booking dinner reservations and providing recommendations. Rooms were great. Pillows could be a little softer but my hang over may have prevented an honest assessment on them!

This is an excellent place to stay. Centrally located; we walked everywhere the whole week, but also far enough from Bourbon street that you can easily sleep at night. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are comfy and there's this delicious fruit water available downstairs to help you stay hydrated between drinks ;-)

They should mention parking prices on there web site this might make a differance in a booking for some people i found it to be very costly an expence i was not prepaired for but self parking would have been very scarry in the french quarter to say the least

Stayed here for a wedding with the reception held in the hotel courtyard. Super close to bourbon street but far enough away that you don't get the smell. The rooms were very clean and the staff was super attentive. I would absolutely stay here again!

The hotel was very quaint, clean and everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The price however was quite expensive, if I didn't get the wedding rate I dont think I would have paid the price for the hotel. And my mattress was very uncomfortable, did not sleep well the entire trip

Booked for last minute trip with friends and enjoyed the stay. Nice room, clean lobby, great breakfast. Entire staff greeted us kindly and were helpful. Bolton, the valet, and Diva, guest services, were extremely helpful.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
