This is a good place to stay in NOLA that's just a bit removed from the franticness of Bourbon St, etc. Wonderful staff, lovely pool. Will stay there again when I return, as it's comfortable and easy.

If you're looking for a fabulous hotel in the French Quarter, book your stay at Maison Dupuy! It's two blocks from the action on Bourbon Street so you can enjoy and then escape back to the quiet. The staff is exceptional and everything is clean and well maintained. I highly recommend this hotel!

This was our first trip to theFrench quarter. The staff were very friendly, rooms were clean. Trying to get a drink order was difficult. We met family there and was unable to enjoy a drink with them because we could not get service.

The Maison Dupuy is the perfect location if you want to be close to the energy of French quarter but tucked away when you want to escape the hoopla. It's within walking distance to bourbon and royal street, Jackson square and even Frenchmen street if you're feeling adventurous (and you have good walking shoes). When you're done being around people...

Overall an OK hotel, room was acceptable, we did not use the dining facilities or bar, so no comment. Location is good, close to action in the French Quarter. Staff are friendly but not especially helpful.

Went to New Orleans and stayed at the Madison Dupuy hotel. Great hotel and location. Staff were friendly and hotel clean. Breakfast was a bit disappointing as we had to eat out on patio and the hotel is not set up for that. The best part of the hotel and its service was the concierge Roy Madden. He is truly...

excellent location, wonderful staff, charming hotel. would highly recommend as staying in New Orleans. Breakfast was a little on the slow side especially when you have commitments to get too. Though the service was good.

Maison Dupuy is in an excellent location. Louis Armstrong Park, the French Quarter, the Mississippi River, the Marigny... are all within walking distance! The hotel lobby was bright, modern, and clean and the concierge and front desk staff were incredibly friendly. The courtyard and pool were lovely. My room was very average- it was spacious and clean but could use...

Everyone was really sweet and gelpful. The hotel was a typical New Orleans building which was great. Perfect location being two blocks from Bourbon St and four blocks from Decatur. Far enough out for quiet but close enough to walk to everything. The pillows hurt my neck though...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
