The entire staff was friendly and courteous. The location was perfect- far enough away from the nighttime noise, but close enough to access all of the sights easily and quickly. I would highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel is fine and the front of house people are nice but the room could have done for a bit more cleaning. The hair that was in the shower when we arrived and on the floor of the bathroom (that was there the whole time) prevent it from being a higher rating. We did run through the key cards...

Stayed in a balcony room overlooking the courtyard with 2 adults and 2 kids. The hotel is in a great location - right on the edge of the French quarter so a little removed from all the chaos and noise but still easy to walk everywhere. Front desk was friendly and they allowed us to check in a little early...

Best location, just 2 blocks to Bourbon Street, but far enough away not to hear all the noise, or be bothered by the crowds. Housekeeping staff lacks attention to room details...did not provide all amenities all days. A call to the front desk remedied this.

We have stayed at this hotel over half dozen times in the last 4 years. We will keep coming back. Rooms are great. Location is fabulous. The restaurant is very good. Pool and courtyard so pretty. Fahy's Bar is right on the corner from the hotel - wish we could control those Irishmen !!!

We had a great expierence for our stay at the Maison Dupuy. Great location within the French Quarter but not right where all the noise is. The pool and court yard was a great place to relax after a long day of walking. We would stay again.

We had a most pleasant stay in this lovely hotel, close to the hustle and bustle of the action, yet sufficiently removed to maintain a calm and peaceful retreat. The hotel provides all the services one needs away from home, and the friendly staff give welcome advice and assistance to one's need to explore the city. The concierge is always...

Housecleaning was lacking. Rm was not cleaned (not vacuumed, toilet paper not replenished, tea not replenished. In addition, you could here people next door as if they were sitting in the room with you.

very convenient to everything in the French Quarter and a short walk to Canal St and the Garden District streetcar. from arrival to departure, the staff is professional and very helpful. having a balcony room was well worth the extra charge. what a wonderful week! time for a new pair of walking shoes.

Ok so we were on honeymoon from the uk and had an absolute blast. NOLA is so much fun. This hotel is clean and tidy, but away from the noise, yet only 2 minutes away from Bourbon street - perfect location. The architecture is beautiful and the pool area is well kept. Food and drink is fairly good too. The...

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
