Friendly and extremely helpful staff. Clean room with some history. The walls are a tad thin and the bathroom desperately needed updating or rehab. Not too far from Burbon st. The courtyard was nice and the history of the place was interesting.

Highly recommended. They graciously let me check-in early. I asked for a mini-fridge and it was set up within 5 minutes. David was friendly and helpful and a wealth of information. The continental breakfast was pretty much what you would expect, with the addition of delicious, fresh tomatoes! Not your run of the mill, mealy supermarket tomatoes, but very flavorful...

Just on the edge of the French Quarters, and blocks away from Bourbon street. Perfect spot for New Years. Staff was friendly and informative. Rooms have the old time charm to them. Clean beds. Highly recommended.

This sets right on the edge of the French Market area. Within walking distance. The employees are wonderful. The rooms are unique. Have stayed here at Christmas time the last 5 years and plan on it for next.

We love this B&B. This year we changed rooms and it was perfect for our marriage! We had a private balcony, lovely, clean room. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. My only suggestion would be some lighting in or near the shower. Everything else was perfect.

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel. The location is wonderful, the value is terrific and the staff is lovely. Nice amenities, included breakfast and charming rooms. The French Quarter begins across the street from the hotel, but far enough away from all the noisy tourists. It's nice also to be picked up in minutes when using Uber. Everything...

This Christmas, I decided to treat myself to a staycation, get out of the house, and, go to places that I had not yet been! So, a few days before Christmas, I checked into this hotel. Good call! The building is attractive from the outside, and, immediately, it was attractive inside! The front desk was inviting, and the staff, friendly!...

We stayed over the Christmas holiday. Weather was warm. Our room overlooked the pool. The hotel was quiet and provided a perfect jumping off point for our exploration of the French Quarter. Room was basic and had everything we needed. The front desk was always covered and the staff was friendly and helpful. We will stay again when visiting New...

We stayed here for 5 nights. The location is excellent and is easy walking distance to most places. Our room was small but had everything we needed. Hot water was a bit hit and miss but just keep running it and it comes through. The pool area is lovely and there is parking at the back of the hotel. A...

We stayed for five days and four nights. The location was great we were able to walk everywhere and not worry about parking. The waffles for breakfast were really good. The night before checking out we saw a cockroach by the toliet. We were grossed out but thought it was just an isolated incident. Come the next morning as we...

I am really sorry to read this review. Our property is under contract and receives pest control once a month. Nonetheless. Palmetto bugs are all over our city. I wish we could have had a conversation about this while you were on property. I have also shared your comments with Jack and while I think they are a bit harsh,...

Staying in Treme

Neighbourhood Profile
Treme
That sound? That flavor? That certain je ne sais quoi that lets you known you’re in “Nawlins” and nowhere else? It’s all good and in broad abundance on the streets of Tremé, where so much of what’s considered to be the very best of New Orleans culture and tradition is, put simply, just how people go about their daily lives in this historic part of town. As one of America’s oldest African-American neighborhoods and among the nation’s first established residential areas for free people of color, Tremé’s significant heritage and contribution cannot be understated. This is especially the case when considering some of Tremé’s most famous residents, most notably jazz great Louis Armstrong. For full flavored food, funky and jazzed up music, and vibrant street life presented with homegrown pride, you can’t beat a visit to Tremé.
