This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel. The rooms are amazing - clean, fresh and the most comfy beds! The pool area is nice too. And it's so close to Bourbon Street and all the other amazing places in the French Quarter. Definitely will stay there again.

Loved this hotel. Staff was friendly, hotel was very clean, breakfast was great. We spent 2 nights here post cruise, Nov 6th thru 8th. The hotel was great. I would definitely stay here again. Everyone on staff seemed happy and friendly. Our room had a balcony over Bourbon street making for a LONG walk..but this is what we requested. Noise...

I was pleased by appearance from lobby to room. Our room had high ceilings which added to the urban vibe. Hotel staff and reception were wonderful and accommodating - very refreshing for us. The location was fantastic right on Iberville, near our oyster crawl spots.

3 day stay recently left me disappointed. Location is convenient to sites, but exceptionally noisy. Room decor was completely monotone - only color in room was grey. Had a "prison" feel. Was supposedly in a suite - but had only 1 room and a bath - size was decent, but regular rooms must be tiny. Asked for housekeeping one day...

Had a wonderful stay in Hyatt Centric French quarters - nicely located to experience the buzz and liveliness of French quarters - staff is great and welcoming and the rooms are very well appointed. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great place to stay in New Orleans

We were here for 5 nights with two rooms. Great location, very nice rooms & bathrooms and most importantly great staff. The beds were also very comfortable. Having booked via a 3rd party (hotels.com) we didn't receive the rooms we expected (rooms on the outside facing the streets tend to be very noisy) by check-in but the front desk staff...

Besides not being able to watch the game in the comfort of my room, I was satisfied with my stay. The location of my room was amazing, service wasperformed in a timely manner, and friendlinesss of the staff gets an A in my book.

We really enjoyed being so close to everything especially since we did not have a car. it was close to the bus, trolley and right in the French quarter. The staff was really helpful and we like the room, nice high ceiling.

Loved this hotel, especially the beds (best night of sleep after a yummy bourbon milk punch). Location is great - close enough to walk to shops and dining but far enough away from the noise. Rooms were comfortable, clean, and quiet. We will return!

Staying in Central Business District

Neighbourhood Profile
Central Business District
Compared to the more evocative monikers of some other parts of New Orleans, the downtown’s humdrum title might suggest that this area is all about business and little else. But don’t let the bland name keep you away from the Central Business District. The CBD offers a wide range of fun things to do that would be touted as exceptional in less jubilant corners of the world. Bordered by the French Quarter, the Arts District and Tremé, with the river at its eastern extreme, this hub for sports, gaming, shopping, theatre, family-friendly activities, and amazing regional cuisine makes a smart base wherever your interests lie.
