This hotel is beautiful, and the hospitality by the staff is top notch! The Christmas decorations were absolutely amazing & the Orleans Bar has such personality. I Definitely will be coming again & when I do I will stay at the Bourbon Orleans Hotel!

The staff is very friendly and helpful, the Christmas decorations in the lobby are beautiful. Friday morning there was a boys' choir singing Christmas carols, Sunday they had brunch with Santa and photos in the lobby. The rooms are clean and well appointed. The breakfast buffet is very tasty. It's not included in the room price, but isn't overly expensive....

I almost got kicked out for noise. However, I was told to party and have a good time. I was even given a complimentary champagne bottle for my birthday from the hotel. So a little noise seems appropriate...Guess not.

Except for a constant air-event-like noise inside our bathroom that was so bothersome, (even when the bathroom air vent was already turned off) everything else at this hotel was great! Perfect location for a very short visit to New Orleans!

This is the hidden gem of New Orleans. You are basically at the end of the partying section of what is called Bourbon Street. The Orleans side of the hotel is traditional loud Bourbon Street with a guy from Iowa throwing up. The St. Ann side of the hotel starts the "rainbow flag" side of Bourbon Street with a guy...

I stayed here with a friend for 3 nights. Location is awesome. You can step out the entryway & be on Bourbon or Jackson Square within 1 block. Royal street is right there as well for great shopping & art perusing. The staff were all very friendly & welcoming. The complimentary coffee & tea is nice (& hot cider...although we...

Great hotel. Lots of charm and history. Inside of the room, the bed was comfortable, despite there being a "shortage of king-sized sheets" so our linens could not be changed during our stay. The bathroom was a great size, however the shower did not have a door, which made for cold showers. Our room was along Bourbon Street, so it...

We splurged for the suite, and good thing too, the other rooms are very tight. Our suite was a loft suite, upstairs and down. It was a beautiful room. Only issue was noisy mini mini fridge, which made it difficult to sleep. Hotel staff was great. Location was perfect! Would stay again.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
