We stayed in a "petite" room for 3 nights prior to a cruise. You can't beat this location, one block off Bourbon, 2 off Decatur. The staff is amazing, Josh in particular but they were all so helpful and friendly. The room was lovely, the name fits but if you don't plan on hanging out in there, it's perfect. I...

This hotel was located perfectly in the French Quarter of New Orleans. There are tons of art galleries, boutique shops, and historic sites along Royal Street. It is also walking distance to Jackson Square, Frenchman Street, and Bourbon Street. The hotel is a beautiful example of the city's historic architecture, with a superb courtyard, and lovely accommodations. Our room was...

This is a very old hotel with modern decor. This hotel has no elevator so be prepared to do some climbing, but it's worth it. The hotels location is a short walk to bourbon street so you can enjoy what that has to offer without all the noise at night. The staff was incredibly nice and eager to help in...

This is our second time staying at this hotel. We will most likely stay here every time we come to NOLA. Yes, the rooms are a bit small. But how much time do you really plan on spending in your room? No there is not an elevator. But with the 10+ miles you will be walking each day, what's a...

We had a great room off of the courtyard and it was perfect for a couples getaway. ALl of the staff was very courteous from checking in-checking out and even when coming and going. They always offered a bottle of water (which was wonderful considering all the walking we did). We stayed in one of the rooms on the ground...

I love this motel / hotel. It is close to the French Quarter activities and the staff is so friendly and the rooms are very comfortable and cozy. The pricing is more than fair and their is a nice breakfast to add in. Definitely recommend to anyone headed to the French Quarter.

Staying in French Quarter

Neighbourhood Profile
French Quarter
A small and teeming network of laissez-faire living lounged out on the balmy banks of the Mighty Mississippi, the French Quarter has long been a port of call for folks in search of a good time and a great story. Perpetually inebriated Bourbon Street runs across its midriff like a strand of cheap ribbon tied around an otherwise rather pretty and impressively well-kept vintage dress. Throughout the rest of the Quarter, brightly colored Victorian homes and businesses, famously done up with wrought-iron features, provide a distinct and immediately recognizable backdrop for all varieties of fun. At any given moment in this historic riverside setting, some of America’s finest meals are being cooked, most potent cocktails are being mixed, and most engaging music is being performed.
